This duck really knows how to groom himself for a photo session.
I like his feather cut, very neat.
Almost like Elvis back in the 70's for his come back.

Sorry tasad, disagree with you this time. Challenge states..."Can you create an artistic photo of animals? Can you capture the essence of your subject? Abstract, surreal, or impressionist creations are welcome. Please vote on which photo is most technically accomplished, most aesthetically pleasing, and best captures an artistic photo of an animal." So, Abstract ?... surreal ?... impressionism ?... "are welcome" not required.

So, what is the purpose tu use the word "abstract"
in the the challenges theme?
Which of these mentioned styles of art are
presented in the image above ?
None of them...
It's a realistic photo (like the majotrity of entries).

Answer, none. But if it was Abstract, surreal, or impressionist it would be a welcome entry as stated above.
