Council

The Council of the Human Rights Commission of the Federal District (CDHDF) is the highest policy-making body that establishes the general guidelines to be followed by each of the organs and areas of support to develop better defense, protection, promotion, education and dissemination of human rights in Mexico City. His intervention is key to the design and strategic planning which seeks to consolidate the institutional management model.

This body develops actions that contributed to institutional strengthening and positioning the CDHDF among the most prestigious public institutions in the country and the continent and consolidate his authority as an institution that makes outstanding contributions to the development of public policies with human rights approach, contribute to strengthening the rule of law and democracy.

In using its powers (article 20 Act your CDHDF and 43 de on Internal Reglamento) approves agreements, general policies and guidelines, programs, standards, manuals and administrative procedures of the Commission.

The Council is composed CDHDF citizens prominent in public life in the country:
