Silent mode should make some noise.

Silent mode is a misnomer when it is provided by an electronic shutter. There are many reasons to use it  other than a requirement for silence really. Using the higher shutter speed it offers, best anti-shock possible, not putting any wear on the mechanical shutter, being forced to use it (hi-res mode, focus stacking/bracketing).

The sound of the shutter is a useful clue though. Basically it tells when a shot is taken. Useful for bursts to know when they start and finish and at what rhythm the exposures are taken; useful to the model who is trying to strike a pose; useful to know that we are finished when bracketing.

We need sound and a volume setting.
