Base ISO - is it too high?

Are you OK with the base ISO of 160-200 for Nikon 1 cameras?

In my opinion mFT sensors don't capture entirely clean images at base sensitivity (ISO100 in EM10's case) let alone N1 cameras. It doesn't take more than boosting contrast and saturation a bit in post, to make the noise immediately apparent.

I really don't get why manufacturers are increasing the base ISO so much. ISO160-200 is bonkers for MFT and even more so for N1.

What's wrong with starting with ISO50? People used to shoot with Kodachrome K25 for decades, which had ASA25. But now it seems manufacturers think that not a single sharp photo can be shot, unless lowest ISO and shutter speed are 8x as high.
