User Lists improvements:
• Release Date sort is back!
• In List Order sort, item numbers show again
• Date Added sort shows date items were added
• Your Lists now shows all list types, is sortable, and editable
• List reordering is easier to use
• iPad list shows list item descriptions again
We've also rebuilt the title page to be faster and more reliable.
Bugs fixed:
• Refine page would sometimes never finish loading
• Unable to add to a user name list
• Search showed "No Results" while loading

Amazing Web site, app lacks charm
I probably use IMDB on my phone more than any other app. And have been a devoted IMDB Web site visitor since its inception.
But sadly, as IMDB's success has grown, it has become more and more commercial.
This app accentuates it's descencion into commercialism.
Hey...its a free website and a free app. I appreciate that it exists at its high level only because advertisers pay the bills. But with each update of this app, it becomes more commercialized and more difficult to navigate.
This is the gold standard for the entire movie and broadcast industry...worldwide! As such, it deserves a classier presentation.
We now are expected to sign in so advertisers can target us. The home page changes based on advertiser deals. Doing research on a single project is more complicated because it doesn't stay on the last page you visited. Each return leads back to the commercialized home page.
I stress, this is one of the best Web sites ever. The information is amazing. And the data base navigation method has transformed the direction of all data driven websites.
So this is not a complaint...I just think such a valuable property deserves a classier app presentation.
IMDB...I love you.

My favorite app!!!
Hands-down my fave app. I use it almost every day. It consistently runs smoothly, providing quick and thorough access to not only the entire database of titles and people in the entertainment industry, but also to the newest trailers and movie buzz, current box office ratings, and all kinds of other relevant news tidbits! Plus with my free account, I can keep track of the movies I want to see and organize my faves in personalized lists of my own. Highly recommend to any movie lover!
I Love IMDB & this App for it!!
I love how easily I can look up movies, TV shows, actors, all the other wonderful information given about everything you could ever want to know and more than you even know you wanted to know!! It is used daily by me and in my family we used the acronym as a verb in my family to back up actor, music & other identifications that are questioned by some one watching; we just "IMDB it." It adds another dimension to watching anything in my home & with my family.
