The Projects and Facilities Database includes information on the major Reclamation dams, as well as the Reclamation powerplants and projects. It does not include information on some of the smaller diversion dams. Some recreational areas at Reclamation facilities are managed by the National Park Service. Reclamation is the largest wholesale water supplier and the second largest producer of hydroelectric power in the United States, with operations and facilities in the 17 Western States. Its facilities also provide substantial flood control, recreation, and fish and wildlife benefits.
