Abby and Carter travel to Oklahoma to rescue Abby's mentally ill mother and bring her back to Chicago. In Chicago, Maggie suffers from a sleeping pills overdose. At County General, Kovac frantically revives her. Benton treats a college student injured in a fraternity prank. Written by Anonymous
This episode has some outside time again. Now it is Abby who goes with carter to Oklahoma to get her mother. So weird that she went with Carter. Their relationship is kind of interesting, although I doubt they would be friends without the AA thing, this is what brings them together and creates a special bond. It all ends also a bit scary with her mother attempting suicide.
Zachary Ty Brian is in this episode as well, in the story about Greek week going wrong. This was already after Home Improvement ended.
Mark and Elizabeth had a baby, they didn't really concentrate too much on this story but good for them!
