I get the idea, but many of us are simply not interested in the extra cost. I love my $500.00 A6000. Not even remotly interested in spending $1400-3000 on a camera body.

If Sony does not continue the APS-C line, I will not go to a full frame camera. I will simply be forced to look at other manufacturers.

In the meantime, I am fully loving my A6000. I plan on having it for many years.

I fully expect Sony to bring the price of their full-frame cameras WAY down, and I expect them to do it with surprising swiftness.  I think that's the plan -- they will beat the competition by providing what will essentially be a full-frame equivalent of the a6000 for the same price as the a6000 goes for today.

Mind you, it's not going to happen overnight, but I absolutely believe that this is Sony's plan.  That's why there will be no "a7000" -- there's no need for a higher-end APS-C camera when they can sell you a full-frame camera for the same price.

As for the current crop of APS-C cameras, I tried the a6000 and didn't like it.  Certainly, the lack of an on-screen electronic level had a lot to do with it, but there were few other reasons why it didn't float my boat.  So, I have rather started "collecting" older NEX bodies, mainly thanks to Amazon's $350 price for the NEX-5TL, the kit with the 16-50mm power kit zoom lens.  I have picked up a few of those that will serve as "spares," hopefully for as long as I'll be able to go out and take pictures.  I have paired the NEX-5T with the Zeiss 16-70mm lens, and I absolutely could not possibly be happier with a camera body, a lens, and the results I can get with them.

So, thanks to Sony for all of that stuff, and for adopting a strategy that just doesn't interest me whatsoever -- so I can finally say "I'm done" with spending more money on cameras.
