I was - and still am - a massive fan of the original series and thought it was a bad idea to resurrect it. After seeing the positive reviews I decided to give it a go. Major disappointment ! All Guy Ritchie did was borrow a title and three of the characters'names, it has nothing whatsoever to do with the original. That, in itself, would not have been so bad if he'd managed to make a decent, witty action movie. Alas, he failed miserably. The acting's bad, the chemistry non-existing and the whole excercise comes across as lazy and boring. I'm very glad the original Men politely declined a cameo. I'm sure Ritchie hopes to turn this into a new franchise, I hope we're spared the ordeal.
