The 2016 nominees for the annual Heath Ledger Scholarship were unveiled last night in Sydney.
The finalists include Christian Antidormi (Spartacus: War of the Damned, Home and Away), Mojean Aria (The Bronx Bull), Natasha Bassett (Hail, Caesar!), Chloe Bayliss (Backtrack), Harley Bonner (Neighbours), Shareena Clanton (Last Cab to Darwin), Ashleigh Cummings (Tomorrow When the War Began, Puberty Blues), Georgia Flood (Home and Away), Sean Keenan (Strangerland), Uli Latukefu (upcoming Alien: Covenant), Sara West (Peter Allen: Not The Boy Next Door, The Daughter) and Meyne Wyatt (Neighbours, Strangerland, The Sapphires)..

Historia Films has just released a batch of new stills from The Hollow, the upcoming thriller from The Theory of Everything‘s Lisa Bruce, written and directed by Miles Doleac (Banshee).
The film features an ensemble cast including James Callis (Battlestar Galactica), Jeff Fahey (Lost), Christiane Seidel (Boardwalk Empire), William Forsythe (The Bronx Bull), Miles Doleac (Containment), William Sadler (Iron Man 3), David Warshofsky (Now You See Me), Garrett Hines (Deepwater Horizon), Jim Gleason (The Best of Me) and Kelly Lind (The Big Short).
When a U.S. congressman’s daughter passing through a small town in Mississippi dies in a mysterious triple homicide, a team of F.B.I. agents descends to investigate, the team’s brilliant but jaded lead agent battling demons both past and present, as his beautiful, tough-as-nails partner tries to hold him and the case together. Charlie Sheen and Whoopi Goldberg to star in Nine Eleven action-drama

Variety is reporting that Charlie Sheen and Whoopi Goldberg have signed on to star in the action drama Nine Eleven, which is being directed by Martin Guigui (The Bronx Bull).
The film will reolve around five individuals trapped in an elevator in the World Trade Center on September 11th, 2011. Sheen and Goldberg will be joined in the cast by Luiz Guzman (Narcos), Wood Harris (Ant-Man) and Olga Fonda (Real Steel).
“We are immensely grateful to bring this inspirational story to life. ‘Nine Eleven’ is a highly emotional journey and it took a dynamic bunch to collectively come together to make this unique film happen,” said Guigui. “We are fortunate to have such a gifted cast on board. Both Charlie and Whoopi are native New Yorkers who strongly identify with this story.”
