TVLine has learned exclusively that All My Children and Days of Our Lives alum Chrishell Stause will next heat things up on CBS’ The Young and the Restless.
Stause will recur as Bethany Bryant, a young woman who relishes the chance to push things to the limit and live dangerously as long as she’s not the one who gets burned. The wild child will find herself immersed in a prominent family’s juicy drama when she first appears on Wednesday, May 25.
In addition to her runs as AMC‘s Amanda Dillon and Days‘ Jordan Ridgeway, Stause’s credits include guest spots on ABC’s Mistresses and Body of Proof and the web series Youthful Daze and Luke 11:17.
Y&R fans, how do you think Bethany will shake up Genoa City?

Haha,so true. I wonder if he’s leaving Y&R for a (new series pick up) and they’re going to use her as a reason for Adam to skip town? This would be the best news ever! I’m a fan but his talents are wasted on Y&R where the stories are recycled every two weeks.

So excited to see Chrishell Stause reunited with her AMC co-star and BFF Melissa Claire Egan on Y&R. Still missed her as Jordan Ridgeway on Days of Our Lives.
I don’t care. Nothing personal as far as the actress goes: however, the last thing Y&R needs is another newbie. Pratt and company don’t know what to do with the characters on-board now. Why, and how do they think a new character will make this sinking ship any more interesting? I only watch out of loyalty to some actors that I like. It sure isn’t for the writing.
