Carnival Films, the NBC-Universal owned creator of ratings juggernaut Downton Abbey, is producing Jamestown, an eight part drama about the first British settlers embarking on their lives in America. The show was been commisioned by pan-Euro pay TV giant Sky. Bill Gallagher (The Paradise) has written the show.
