Prince William and Prince Harry May Make a 'Star Wars' Cameo

25 April 2016 2:05 PM, PDT

Prince William and Prince Harry got to live out many "Star Wars" fans' dreams when they recently visited the set of "Episode VIII," now filming in England. But apparently being royalty doesn't just get you cool perks like a behind-the-scenes tour of a hotly-anticipated sequel -- it also gets you a cameo in said sequel.

A new report from UK tabloid The Daily Mail claims that the British brothers shot the not-so-secret-anymore cameos during their set visit last week, where they met with cast and crew members, hugged it out with Chewbacca, and had a lightsaber duel, among other fun. That fun also allegedly extended to filming an actual scene for the flick, in which they dressed up as Stormtroopers, and worked with Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, and series newcomer Benicio del Toro.

Here's the scoop, per The Mail:

Jennifer Hudson and Harvey Fierstein Join 'Hairspray Live!'

25 April 2016 11:55 AM, PDT

As open auditions for the next Tracy Turnblad take place, NBC has already found two key cast members for its next musical, "Hairspray Live!": The network announced on Monday that Jennifer Hudson and Harvey Fierstein have joined the ensemble.

Hudson, who's currently lighting up the Broadway stage in "The Color Purple," is set to play Motormouth Maybelle, the owner of a record store and the host of a dance program on local Baltimore television. She takes over the role from Queen Latifah, who starred in the musical's 2007 big screen adaptation. (Hudson, who already has an Oscar and a Grammy under her belt, could complete the Egot if she wins a Tony for "Purple" and an Emmy for "Hairspray.")

Fierstein will be playing Edna Turnblad, the mother of protagonist Tracy, returning to the role he originated on Broadway back in 2002 (and for which he won a Tony). John Travolta played Edna in the 2007 movie, »

Coulson, among many others.

'Game of Thrones' Season 6 Premieres to Mixed Reviews, Lowest Critics Score to Date

25 April 2016 9:40 AM, PDT

The ratings aren't in yet for the "Game of Thrones" Season 6 premiere, but it's safe to say they will be higher than the red comet of Season 2. Every season premiere has improved in audience size, but the same cannot be said of the audience reaction. After all, you don't know whether you like an episode or not until after you contribute to its viewer tally.

Many critics and fans responded immediately, and the early Season 6 premiere verdict is in: It was good, but not great.

On Monday, Rotten Tomatoes reported that Season 6, Episode 1, "The Red Woman" is certified fresh with an 81 percent score. Matt Atchity, editor-in-chief of Rotten Tomatoes, shared this statement:

"The long-awaited 6th season of Game of Thrones has mostly satisfied critics. As the series has outpaced the novels, book readers no longer have the luxury of knowing major plot points ahead of time. Most critics say that »

Ricky Gervais Doesn't 'Give a F*ck' If Hollywood Can't Take a Joke

25 April 2016 9:00 AM, PDT

For viewers with an appetite for a fresh helping of Ricky Gervais's comedic signature dish -- sending a hapless, hubris-ridden character down an ever deepening hole of lies, schemes, and increasing anxiety-provoking repercussions -- the comic's new Netflix original film "Special Correspondents" is the banquet you've been waiting for.

That's because the stakes are raised far beyond the cubicle politics of the original BBC version of "The Office" of the ego-driven showbiz inanities of HBO's "Extras": "Special Correspondents," written and directed by Gervais, casts him as a hapless radio engineer teamed with a hard-driving but difficult-to-work-with journalist (Eric Bana) to cover a conflict in Ecuador who, after missing their flight, conspire to convincingly fabricate their reports from the war zone in an effort to avoid getting fired.

But their dispatches only inflame tensions in the real world, prompt them to fake their own kidnapping by mysterious guerrilla forces, »

Beyonce Fans (Hilariously) Mistake Rachael Ray for Rachel Roy in 'Becky' Cheating Scandal

25 April 2016 8:19 AM, PDT

Poor Rachael Ray. Can you imagine being the celebrity chef on Sunday, just minding your own business when all of a sudden your Instagram is filled with bee and lemon emojis from angry Beyoncé fans vowing to stop eating your tacos? It must've been very confusing.

As you probably know, Beyonce revealed her "Lemonade" short film/visual album Saturday night on HBO. One song lyric seemed to reference her husband Jay Z cheating, with Bey saying, "He better call Becky with the good hair." That initially just turned into a lot of Becky jokes, and insults to Jay Z, but then fashion designer Rachel Roy got involved.

There were already rumors that Rachel Roy was the woman behind the whole Met Gala fight with Beyonce's sister Solange, and Roy further inserted herself in the mix early Sunday morning with a cryptic post that was interpreted by many fans as »

Wolverine and Mystique Rule Final 'X-Men: Apocalypse' Trailer

25 April 2016 7:29 AM, PDT

In the new (and final) trailer for "X-Men: Apocalypse," Jennifer Lawrence's Raven/Mystique takes over as acting leader of the X-Men, and Hugh Jackman's Wolverine makes a badass cameo.

Professor Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) is apparently taken by Apocalypse's crew, so Mystique is left to lead the young mutants in their attempt to defeat the new villain. "It's all of us against a god."

Mystique: "I'm not a hero."

Beast: "The students look up to you."

JLaw is the most famous person in the movie, so it's not really a surprise they'd beef up Mystique's role and put her at the center of the trailer, if not the entire movie. But she doesn't get the end cameo -- that goes to Wolverine's claws, akin to "Captain America: Civil War" giving the end shot to Spider-Man.

Hugh Jackman teased Wolverine's appearance in the trailer:

Michael Strahan Gets Why Kelly Ripa Is Mad, But Looks Forward to Her Return Tuesday

25 April 2016 7:01 AM, PDT

Rubberneckers, you have a date with Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan tomorrow morning. Ripa is expected to return to "Live! With Kelly and Michael" Tuesday, April 26, after nearly a week-long absence. It should be ... interesting.

Some of Ripa's time away was planned, but she was supposed to sit next to Strahan last Wednesday and Thursday. She skipped her own show in a form of protest after reportedly being blindsided by Strahan's Tuesday afternoon announcement that he was leaving the show in September. The situation has been awkward ever since.

However, a source told People that Strahan is "looking forward to having Kelly Ripa back on 'Live!' He never wanted any of this to happen. He got why she was mad but it was out of his control. He spent the last few days reaching out because he wanted her to come back." This source said Strahan was "prepared to »

'The Walking Dead' Season 7 Casting Call Issued for Major New Character

25 April 2016 6:20 AM, PDT

Are you ready to meet Augustus Ezekiel in "The Walking Dead" Season 7?

Spoil the Dead got the full casting call details, showing that the character is meant to be a guest star in Season 7, arriving in Episode 3, and potentially staying on for a "multiple year series option":

'Game of Thrones' Season 6 Premiere Recap: Jon Snow Is Still Dead, Melisandre Is Old News

24 April 2016 7:30 PM, PDT

Well, seven hells. It has been 10 months since Jon Snow died in the "Game of Thrones" Season 5 finale, but our watch has not ended. Thanks to "The Red Woman" -- the title of the surprising, but not completely satisfying Season 6 premiere -- it has only just begun. As of now, the late Lord Commander is still a Weekend at Bernie's corpse being protected by his friends. (Bless you, Ser Davos.) But the episode ended with Melisandre stripping (again), poised for some kind of action. However, is that action ending her own life? Or does she do that little necklace removal ritual every night before bed?

We learned a lot more about The Red Woman this hour. As it happens, she's not quite as hot as she seems. And she's older than she looks. (Maybe it's Maybelline?)

Looks can kill. It is known. (lol) #GameOfThrones pic.twitter.com/RyW96rbJAW
