Robert Downey Jr hints that Sherlock Holmes 3 might finally be happening...
It’s been five years since Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law came together for Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows. Since then, both actors have expressed that they’re keen to make a third Sherlock Holmes big screen adventure, and director Guy Ritchie is also on board with the idea. The problem has been scheduling, and just fitting the project in.
But there could now be progress.
Robert Downey Jr is currently doing the interview rounds for Captain America: Civil War, and he’s confirmed that a third Sherlock Holmes big screen adventure is edging closer. “We’re talking about it right now”, he told Shortlist. “I can’t wait.
