Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC has today launched its latest flagship model, the HTC 10. While the predecessors we tested were frankly disappointing in the camera department, looking at its specs it seems like the 10 has the potential to turn things around for HTC. Read more
The Impossible Project has unveiled the I-1 instant camera, a revival of an analog classic. The I-1 prints photos using Impossible Project 600-type film, which was reverse-engineered from Polaroid's now-discontinued 600-type offering. Read more
Lensbaby has announced the Twist 60, a new lens for creative photography which is all about bokeh, with a twist. Similar to 19th-century designs by Joseph Petzval, the Twist offers strong separation between subject and background, with the latter having a 'swirly' appearance and enhanced vignetting. Read more

Lytro is bringing its Light Field technology to the world of cinema and visual effects. Lytro Cinema turns every frame of live action into a 3D model, capturing intensity, color, and angular information of light rays. With a 755 MP sensor capable of capturing images at 300 fps, Lytro Cinema promises extensive post-production freedom, including adjustment of focus, DOF, shutter speed and frame rate, as well as the elimination of green screens.
