Taking place entirely during the opening night of a high school's production of Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream, OPENING NIGHT chronicles the on stage disasters and off-stage drama of a group of students, their drama teacher and a visiting B-list TV star. Written by Anonymous
My quick one-line review: Stop and watch this film now! To expand: This is required viewing for anyone who was in a school play, loves Shakespeare, or just likes a good film. It took me back to the craziness of the high school drama club. It's so much fun to watch. Let's start with the fantastic acting. Broadway stars, young newcomers
- it's a perfect cast. The writing is also very good with a story that
keeps you engaged and entertained. What I really like about this film is that it touches on so many subjects without spreading itself too thin. Honestly, it was a lovely 90 minutes of watching a film that I could watch again and again.
