One of the BEST independent films of 2011 - 2013!!!
8 April 2013 | by (Los Angeles, Ca) – See all my reviews

Speaking on behalf as someone who surrounds himself with movie enthusiasts and is an avid movie enthusiast myself, my circle and I enjoy watching films on a daily basis. Unfortunately, because of the advancement of technology there's a lot more movies out now that are a complete waste of time. They have a hard time holding your attention for even half of the movie, they have ZERO character development leaving watchers detached from the movies and leave them unsatisfied at the ending. But on rare occasions, extremely rare occasions, there's a film that truly stands out in the independent market, and this advancement of technology is a blessing for talented new film makers to take their first steps out of the shadows, onto the big screen and truly blow us away with their yet unseen talent. In the past decade we've seen films such as, "The Blair Witch Project" and "Paranormal Activity" come out of no where and dazzle us with their low budget blockbusters. If you were like most people and were bewildered by either or both of those above movies, you need to take deep breaths now, because for 80 intense minutes you are going to barely find enough time to breathe! It's complex story line was well told by young director Felix Martiz. You won't be able to help yourself from being charmed and awed by the performances of Jesus Guevera, and Wesam Keesh, who make you laugh and cry and really go on one wild ride with them throughout this truly monumental film. So if you have been looking for the next great independent film get out there, Santiago is a MUST see for avid film watchers everywhere, and under my recommendation you want to be one of the people who soon will be able to say "I saw that first!"
