Storyline

'APPLY NOW: School of Hard Knocks' follows two job seekers with different backgrounds & experience; but almost identical skillsets, as they search for employment. Covering two decades, this film will explore the shift which has occurred in our country's education system, flaws that lie in major corporations hiring processes & the modern ways start-up companies are helping solve our unemployment dilemma. From job fairs, to applications, to the interview; the film will show how and why our very similar main characters experience the job search process differently. Interviewees which will help tell this story include executives from companies within the job search industry, Human Resources, startups, college administrators, our two main characters, their past employers, colleagues, friends and family and more.
