Facebook's open source Surround 360 captures 3D-360 video at up to 8K

Facebook has introduced the Surround 360, which captures 3D, 360 degree video using a total of seventeen cameras, all with global shutters. Swirly bokeh: Lensbaby announces Twist 60 lens

Lensbaby has announced the Twist 60, a new lens for creative photography which is all about bokeh, with a twist. Similar to 19th-century designs by Joseph Petzval, the Twist offers strong separation between subject and background, with the latter having a 'swirly' appearance and enhanced vignetting. Read more
