TVLand's CON-Fidential Secrets
3 October 2005 | by (Miami, FL) – See all my reviews

Yes, TVLAND has "conned" us again into watching a compilation of programs it once was proud of showing and no longer does (there are exceptions.) TVLAND, just like the SCI-FI Channel and other cable fare does not cater to its watching public. It merely buys a set of reruns that might be cheap (or going for a steal) and then reruns the same 20 episodes OVER AND OVER AND OVER again until we, the patient public, get sick of these shows.

Instead of having a little variety every evening: TVLAND shows schlocky upon schlocky show and does not read it's own Bulletin Boards.

It's ironic that the best shows we can view on TVLAND are shown during the morning or pre-prime-time hours.

I am still waiting to see BURNS and ALLEN, DOBIE GILLIS, THE PATTY DUKE SHOW and THE HONEYMOONERS again. Until then, I have to pay through the nose and look through thick and thin for VHS or DVD copies on the Internet.

As for this TVLAND Compilation show, it's a crock and the stove isn't even turned on. It has turned me off, instead.
