House Committee's Circulated Draft On Puerto Rico Draws Significant Concerns

Puerto Rico officials and observers of the commonwealth’s continued fiscal turmoil are saying a circulated congressional proposal to help the territory is concerning in its current form and are waiting for an updated draft that is expected from the lead committee on the issue in Congress on Tuesday.

Bond Buyer Indexes Strengthen Again

March 23, 2016

In the week ended March 23, the weekly average yield to maturity of the Bond Buyer Municipal Bond Index fell two basis points to 4.06% from 4.08% in the previous week. The BB40 Index is based on the price of 40 long-term bonds.
