20 Stars You Didn't Realize Were in Disney Channel Original Movies

For many millennials like myself, Disney Channel's original movies served as not only our entertainment, but also as a handbook for life. They warned us about high school bullies, peer pressure, and sometimes just how easy it can be to clone yourself or switch places with your sibling. (More on that later.) Excluding Disney's usual stars - Shia Labeouf, Hilary Duff, Selena Gomez, and others - there were a lot more famous faces in those late '90s and early '00s movies than you remember. Keep reading to see our definitive list of all those one-time Disney-stars-turned-mainstream-celebrities you might have forgotten about. »

23 Feelings Game of Thrones Book Readers Are Experiencing With the Season 6 Premiere

Season six of Game of Thrones is going to be a whole new adventure - not only because the previews make it look absolutely insane, but because a huge portion of the viewership is experiencing something brand new. That's right . . . those of us who read George R. R. Martin's books are going into this season blind for the very first time. We used to have plentiful A Song of Ice and Fire book knowledge to fall back on in times of great distress, confusion, or tension, but the show has finally outpaced the written series; and as a whole, the fandom isn't handling it very well. Call us control freaks or spoiler-happy killjoys, but there's something comforting about knowing what's coming . . . especially before plot events like the Red Wedding. So, if you're one of the series diehards who's struggling with this new adventure, these situations will look quite familiar. »

While we acknowledge the fact that we won't be getting answers to most of our queries anytime soon (no matter how many times we obsess over the the recently released DVD), that hasn't stopped us from theorizing about perhaps the most maddeningly frustrating part of episode seven: who the hell are Rey's parents?! The Rock Welcomes Charlize Theron to the Fast 8 Family With a Sweet Instagram Message

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson just keeps reminding us of what a big (buff) teddy bear he really is. On Wednesday, he shared a picture of his new Fast 8 costar, Charlize Theron, captioning it: "Want to officially welcome my good bud and all around bad ass Charlize Theron to Fast & Furious 8. When MTV asked her how she felt about coming in and playing the villain, her response was classic and the reason why I love that woman . . she said, "I'm coming to mess that sh*t up!" #WreckSh*t #BringIt #FF8 #DaddysGottaGoToWork." Work, indeed! Does this mean we can expect a picture of Johnson and Scott Eastwood soon? Let's hope so. The real question is what is his San Andreas costar Carla Gugino doing in here? Whatever, we accept you, Carla. Check it out, and find out what else we know about Fast 8! A photo posted by therock (@therock »

Melissa McCarthy's Funniest Onscreen Moments of All Time

Melissa McCarthy recently took home the Comedic Genius honor at the MTV Movie Awards, and with good reason. The actress has been nothing short of hilarious in movies like Bridesmaids and Spy, as well as her TV work on Mike and Molly and Saturday Night Live, to name a few roles. Thanks to a sense of physical comedy that would make Lucille Ball proud (we're convinced that every time McCarthy throws herself down a flight of stairs, an angel gains its wings) and impeccable comedic timing, she's solidified herself as one of Hollywood's most hysterical leading ladies. Keep reading to see all of her best onscreen moments, and check out her incredible appearance on Lip Sync Battle. »

12 Movies You'd Never Guess Are Based on Short Stories

I haven't read a ton of short stories, but I recently read The Best American Mystery Stories 2015 for my book club - one of the great perks of book club is reading books you wouldn't normally pick up - and was surprised at one point guest editor James Patterson made about them in the introduction. He explained that short stories make great films because they get straight to the action and tell a gripping story in a succinct package. They manage to pull you in and get you emotionally invested right away, something filmmakers hope their movies will do as well. Here are 12 popular movies you might not know are based on short stories (and novellas). Reading a book made into a movie has never been so easy! »

Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki were spotted filming Supernatural's final chapters of season 11 on Tuesday in Westminster, British Columbia, Canada. While it's not clear whether their interactions were on camera or between takes, the two costars hugged it out and smiled while hanging together on set. Also nearby was their other Supernatural bud Misha Collins. We're still a month off from the show's finale episode, but Jared and Jensen are also looking at the big picture. Recently, they revealed how they imagine the whole show would end, and the prospects are looking pretty bleak. We're just hoping we get tons more Supernatural set pictures until then. Star Wars: 6 Reasons Jyn Erso Could Totally Become Captain Phasma

Now that we've soaked up all the details about Rogue One and watched that new teaser trailer about 100 times, it's time to crack our knuckles and get to work.
