First 'Kong: Skull Island' Video Invites You Into Its Mysterious Jungle
just now
Kong: Skull Island is still about a year away from release, so it's understandable that we haven't seen a billion trailers for it yet. But we will greedily admit we wish we had more to see, more to pick apart frame by frame. This is a new King Kong movie, after all. He has long, long been a huge part of our cinematic imagination and we can't wait to see what an exciting new filmmaker like Jordan Vogt-Roberts (The Kings of Summer) does with the icon. As much as we'd love a trailer for the movie at this stage, we'll gladly take this behind-the-scenes footage that MTV premiered this weekend. It introduces us to the movie's cast - Brie Larson, Tom Hiddleston, Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell - which is cool, but more importantly it gives us a fleeting glimpse of...

Update: 'Fast & Furious 8' Casts Scott Eastwood Alongside Charlize Theron
just now
Update 4/11/16: The Fast 8 cast keeps growing. Last week a pair of bad guys were added in the form of Charlize Theron and Kristofer Hivju and this week the F. Gary Gray-directed movie signed up the new heir to the grizzled, chizzled jawline, Scott Eastwood (son of Clint, in case the above image didn't make that obvious). He'll be playing the protege to Kurt Russel's secret government agent we first met in Furious 7. Previously 4/7/16: The Fast and the Furious series has rarely stumbled when it comes to casting. That may not seem that impressive considering most actors big and small would love to be in one of the most successful franchises of all time (even Helen Mirren wants in), but it's a lot harder when you're...

Watch New 'Suicide Squad' and 'Fantastic Beasts' Trailers
2 hours ago
Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart hosted the 25th annual MTV movie awards show last night and among the many highlights, two new trailers for highly-anticipated movies debuted. We've heard a lot about Suicide Squad, most recently that new footage was being shot with the goal of adding more comic lightness to the movie (though director David Ayer says it's to add more action). The new trailer is packed with footage we haven't seen before, including a bunch of lighter moments involving multiple characters. It's safe to say that our Suicide Squad anticipation is now through the roof. The action is set to Lesley Gore's immortal "You Don't Own Me" (1963) and The Sweet's "The Ballroom Blitz" (1973), both pop tunes that serve well as...
