The Flash season 3 cast

The Flash season 3 has snapped up Tom Felton - best known as Draco Malfoy from the Harry Potter movies - for a recurring role. He'll play Julian Dorn, a new Central City Police Department CSI colleague for Grant Gustin's Barry Allen.

Julian will be the first central character in a while who doesn't know Barry's superhero secret. According to TV Line, it won't be long before he "suspects there’s more to Barry Allen than just his good guy reputation".

Although his most famous role was that of a villain, it's worth noting that Mr Felton has a strong sense of humour, too. Anyone who's listened to his audio accompaniment to the Leavesden Harry Potter tour will know this. I've got a »

The Flash has always been magical, but this casting announcement should seal the deal.

Both Gustin and Greg Berlanti have confirmed the title for The Flash Season 3 Episode 1 is "Flashpoint," and they will be doing a version of the famous DC comics story.

Synopsis:

Two teenage yoga enthusiasts team up with a legendary man-hunter to battle with an ancient evil presence that is threatening their major party plans.

As a director, Kevin Smith has taken a rather divisive career turn in recent years. Gone are the days when the Fatman on Batman was an indie darling churning out critically acclaimed hits like Clerks, Chasing Amy and Dogma, and in his place is a podcaster who no longer cares about film conventions with outings like Red State and Tusk. Curtis Is Essentially Cisco In "Arrow" S5

28 June 2016 8:07 AM, PDT | Dark Horizons | See recent Dark Horizons news »

"Arrow" executive producer Wendy Mericle has revealed that with Echo Kellum's Curtis Holt character being promoted from recurring to a regular in the upcoming fifth season of The CW's "Arrow," the writers have come up with a way to avoid him and Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) butting heads as both characters do serve similar purposes.

Instead, they're changing around his role in Team Arrow into one more resembling that of Cisco on The CW's "The Flash" - utilising his skills as a mechanical engineer as opposed to Felicity who will be more about running operations and hacking. Mericle tells TV Line:

"Essentially, if she's software, he's hardware. As he evolves into becoming Mr. Terrific in Season 5, one of the things we're really exploring is differentiating them by having Curtis be more like Cisco on The Flash. We want him to be a bit more hands-on, a little more about building physical tech. »

New Justice League Concept Art Offers Up A Fresh Look At The Flash

The Ultimate Cut of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is now available on Digital HD, and as you might have guessed, it hasn’t taken long for screengrabs from the movie to have surfaced on social media. Earlier tonight we got a new look at The Joker in Suicide Squad, but now a new piece of Justice League concept art has appeared as well. Offering up a familiar look at characters like Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Aquman, by far the most interesting reveal here relates to Cyborg and The Flash.

We’ve seen bits and pieces of concept art for both of those heroes in the past, but this is perhaps our best look at the Justice League members yet. The Flash in particular is interesting, especially as his costume has not yet been officially revealed by Warner Bros. and this doesn’t appear to have much in »

Violett Beane Set To Return As 'Jesse Quick' For The Flash Season 3

Back in May, we received confirmation that Tom Cavanagh would be back as a series regular in season three of The Flash and now, we've received word that his on-screen daughter Violett Beane will also be returning as Jesse Quick. Beane let the news slip at the Saturn Awards earlier this week: "I know I’ll be back... but I don’t know if it’s with or without powers.” Considering that Barry has set the events of Flashpoint in motion, whether we see the Earth-2 Jesse again or the Earth-1 version or one from an entirely different Earth is yet-to-be seen, but regardless, whenever she does get her shot, Beane sounds more than ready to take up the challenge: "When Jesse got hit, I was like ‘It’s happening!
