Batman v Superman has had both fans and critics questioning if the rest of the DC Film Universe would have the same dark tone. In a recent interview with Forbes, producer Deborah Snyder spoke about the introduction of a more lighthearted tone and levity with certain characters like the Flash (Ezra Miller) and »

The Real Reason Why The Titular Heroes Of Batman V Superman Were Fighting Has Been Revealed

"Why did you say that name?" With Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice crossing the $530 million mark worldwide, the full main cast, including Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Gal Gadot, Laurence Fishburne, Holly Hunter, and Diane Lane along with director Zack Snyder did a victory lap on Conan last night and had a grand time with the always hilarious Conan O'Brien. While they spoke on a variety of different aspects regarding the process behind making the critically panned film, the most important topic stemmed from the question many have been asking ever since the film was first announced: why are Superman and Batman fighting in the first place? Well, O'Brien thankfully was able to solve the mystery for the entire world and as it turns out it may have a little something to do with Martha... O'Brien reminded the cast about a small film titled Hollywoodland that Affleck co-starred in with Lane, »

Robert Downey Jr. Celebrates April Fools' Day Civil War Style

Unlike the Mandarin misdirection in Iron Man 3 (yes, I'm still bitter about that), this is a plot twist that I can actually get behind. What if the big superhero battle between Team Cap and Team Iron Man is all part of some bigger ploy to take down Baron Zemo? Too bad it's just an April Fools' joke. On second thought, what is Zemo's role in the film? We're a little under two months away from the release of Civil War and there are still quite a number of unknowns keeping the full scope of the plot cloaked in mystery - which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Wink wink... #aprilfoolsday pic.twitter.com/T8XiR1BWqz — Robert Downey Jr (@RobertDowneyJr) April 1, 2016 “Captain America: Civil War” picks up where “Avengers: Age of Ultron” left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. »

Box Office: Batman V Superman Still Going Strong, But Weekend Figures Will Be Telling

Because there's no competition out there yet it seems Zack Snyder's Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice will come out on top again this weekend - but analysts are still expecting a pretty significant drop. That said, even a 60% drop will apparently give it a second week take of at least $66 million, pushing its domestic gross well over the $250 million mark. Worldwide, the Man of Steel follow-up has already taken in over $530 million. Whatever happens, there's no doubt BvS has an incredible first week - just lagging slightly behind Marvel's Iron Man 3 which grossed $212.4M in its first seven days. Can Batman V Superman be the juggernaut Warner Bros. really needs it to be and continue to rake in the cash? Well, at this point it seems highly unlikely that it won't gross at least $1 billion... eventually. »

Like, a lot. Needless to say, the sight of the Dark Knight taking out crooks in such a brutal manner has caused quite a stir, and not even a very sensible explanation from director Zack Snyder has managed to calm some comic book fans down. The fact is, killer or not, Ben Affleck's Batman is the most comic book faithful take on the iconic DC Comics character to date, but him having blood on his hands is something which just isn't acceptable to some.  I get it though. »

Aaron Taylor-Johnson Finally Reveals Why 'Quicksilver' Was Killed Off In Avengers: Age Of Ultron

Last year, Marvel gave us Ant-man and Avengers: Age of Ultron. Two films that weren't quite as great as the previous year's outings, but still managed to satisfy audiences all the same. Ant-man delighted audiences with its cast and outstanding visuals. Many were curious to see how the film would hold up. Film director Edgar Wright left the project after eight years and production troubles ensued in his absence (many directors came and went before Marvel eventually settled on Peyton Reed). Age of Ultron entertained its viewers with the debut of the Vision and an epic Hulkbuster battle. In the days leading up to the film's release, fans were interested in one particular aspect of the film...the character of Quicksilver.    20th Century Fox had already cast actor Evan Peters for the role in X-Men: Days of Future Past. So you can imagine the confusion when Aaron Taylor-Johnson was also »

What are the odds that the tachyon device malfunctions or secretly siphons off Barry's speed and sends it to Eobard? We'll find out for sure »
