Although the pair announced they were splitting in February of last year, and went on to do an episode of “Untying The Knot,” estranged couple Toya Wright and Mikey “Memphitz” Wright are giving their relationship another go by joining a new reality show, “Marriage Boot Camp Reality Stars.”
The new season of “Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars” premieres in June on WEtv and boasts the following c-list celebrates: “Sharknado” star Tara Reid and her hubby Dean May, Michelle Money and Cody Sattler of “Bachelor in Paradise” fame, “America’s Next Top Model’s” Lisa D’Amato and Adam Friedman, and Brittish Williams and Lorenzo Gordon of “Basketball Wives LA.”
According to a press release, the couples will “undergo extreme relationship counseling to decide if their unions are worth saving. Husband and wife duo Jim & Elizabeth Carroll oversee the couples’ journeys and push them to the brink with physically, mentally and emotionally draining exercises.”
As Wright and her husband were heading toward divorce court, she released a book called “How to Lose a Husband.” And while there may be hope for their marriage, Memphitz has a reputation for being “The bad boy who won’t commit.”
He tells Toya in the preview clip below of the series, “If I don’t get the love from you, I’m going to get it.”
Toya once revealed that she gave Memphitz eight hall passes a year in their marriage. Still, Memphitz is speechless when asked if he has ever actually used the hall passes, causing Toya to break down crying, “I don’t wanna do this anymore,” during an exercise.
Memphitz also reaches his breaking point and ends up getting physical as he tackles a guy to the ground. The man tells him, “Go ahead and kill me.”
