  • Rapper Future Hendrix has filed a countersuit against his baby mama, Ciara Harris, who sued him for defamation earlier this year. Celebrity blogger theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports that in Future’s countersuit, he claims his ex is a” washed-up singer” whose career is dead, and her purpose for suing him was to generate publicity for less than stellar album sales.

On Monday, Ciara refused to say Future’s name while announcing names of the Billboard Music Awards nominees on the set of Good Morning America. Her snub led many to speculate that there was a gag order in effect, preventing either party from mentioning the name of the other in public.

While Ciara and her fiancé Russell Wilson are making plans to tie the knot this summer, Future wants her to never forget that, despite what she’s alleging in her lawsuit against him, he hasn’t damaged her reputation, because she hasn’t had a particularly great one to speak of in recent years.

Future is also demanding Ciara not only stop bad-mouthing him to the press, but also cover the legal fees that he has incurred as a result of her initial lawsuit. In February, Ciara sued Future, seeking $15 million in defamation and slander damages, citing the rapper’s past interviews and more recent Twitter rants against her and her fiancé, football player Russell Wilson, as grounds for the case.

During an interview with a New York radio station last July, Future suggested that Ciara was using their son as a prop for publicity with her new beau Wilson.

“At the end of the day, I’m not for the publicity stunts,” he said at the time. “Leave my son out of the publicity stunts. Just leave him out of your relationship.”

The pair have had a very public messy fallout since they split in August 2014. Since then, Ciara is given the public a front row seat to watch her romance with Russell play out.

“I remember telling my friend the kind of guy I wanted: a God-fearing man with a very fun spirit who loves kids and would really, truly care for me,” she told the May issue of Essence of Wilson. “I was very specific because I do believe you can have it all.”

    1. Future sounds like a BAD case of jealous. She don’t want me no more, and she got a man better than me. Come on man….. grow up and move on…..

    2. LoL, even though i dislike future there is some truth to what he’s saying Ciaras “career” has been more fueled by the men she messes with over the last few years than her “talent”, so if anything Futures comments fueled her “brand”

    3. Future is just mad that Ciara has moved on and got a good man. Future started this nonsense in the public FIRST. Really Ciara was quiet and Future started trashing Ciara after he saw Russell and Ciara out with the baby. Future need to be glad that a man like Russell will be in his son’s life. There are plenty of jerks who Ciara can pick to be mate and to be in the baby’s life but she picked a good man like Russell. That is as good as it gets. And Ciara is doing well in her career. Is she selling like Beyonce, NO but you Future is not sell like Drake but you are doing well in at your level.

      • Totally agree Amber. Some men, usually the most trifling, cannot stand when they do you dirty, you leave and then find a BETTER man. It is so pathetic.
