Full disclosure: One of my roles is as the Amazon Studios liaison and there are several in the following list including The Neon Demon and Cafe Society.
That's because they, along with quite a number of Cannes's 2016 programming, both in and out of competition, are full of delicious possibilities.

The Tribeca Film Festival runs from April 13th - 24th and though it has been overshadowed by films it's not showing (the controversial anti-vaccine doc, Vaxxed) there are more than enough films they are showing to ponder. Here's ten:

I took a peek at my "16 Sundance 2015 Films I'm Most Excited to See" and was pretty happy with my selections. It included some top 20 films for me like TRUE STORY, some very good performances, like Jason Segel in THE END OF THE TOUR, and movies I just plain liked, like COP CAR. There were also some misses (cough, cough, THE BRONZE) but there are always misses. Let's hope that none of the following can be labeled as such though. - Keith Simanton, Senior Film Editor, IMDb

I'm IMDb's Senior Film Editor and, though I haven't seen everything yet, I do have a high level of confidence that with a few likely, noticeable exceptions, not a lot is going to change on this list. As always here's my Top 25 Films of 2015 in case you're wondering what's just outside of this list, perhaps even some of your favorites. Both these lists have changed over the year, as they should, and movies have slid up and down (and off!), often after a second viewing. by Keith Simanton, Senior Film Editor, IMDb -

Whipped (2000)
82 words on Whipped
12 September 2000
"Whipped" is 82 minutes long. This review is 82 words long. Three unlikable New York Lotharios, ruthless "scammers," end up wooing the same woman, played by Amanda Peet, with disastrous results. That applies to the story and the film. Too sophomoric to be misogynistic, flaccid and ridiculous, "Whipped" mixes the philosophies of shock jock Tom Lykis with Penthouse letter fantasies. Though technically proficient it's dated, grating, poorly written, mean, and obvious. People don't act like this. People don't talk like this. Really.
