Some dreams never come true, but with perseverance and passion, they can become reality. That could be said for young actress Brighton Sharbino, who at just six years of age was already starring in commercials and landing roles in television shows. Born and raised in Texas, Brighton comes from a strong support system including older sister Saxon Sharbino and younger brother Sawyer Sharbino who share the same love for acting. Brighton's passion for performing and entertaining others began at a very young age, seeing as to how she was a competitive cheerleader all the way up until she was six years old, when she quit cheer to pursue acting.

With the groundwork laid, fast forward a few years and Brighton found herself with a guest star role on NCIS (2003) in which she played the younger version of the titular character, Abby. Soon after, she booked a recurring role on The Walking Dead (2010)

She started guest starring on other hit shows such as Once Upon a Time (2011) and True Detective (2014)

in 2016, Brighton starred as Jennifer Garner's on screen daughter in Sony's Miracles from Heaven (2016) which won a Teen Choice Award.

in 2017, Brighton's movie Bitch (2017) where she stars opposite Jason Ritter and Jaime King premiered at the Sundance film festival. She also guest starred on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999)

I would love to work with John Goodman because I thought he was crazy good in 10 Cloverfield Lane. I would like to work with Leonardo DiCaprio because he's a legend for one, but also I thought his character choices in Catch Me if You Can were just brilliant.

It was a lot of fun, especially because there are not very many crazy characters for young girls. I think that her character, [Lizzie Samuels in The Walking Dead] the thing that was so twisted and so heartbreaking about her was that she had good intentions. She did not want to see them as bad, but shaking down the boundaries between good and bad can lead you to doing bad things because she did not see bad. It is what led her to the darkness. That is what was so heartbreaking.

[on working on the set of Once Upon a Time (2011)] It was very different from shooting The Walking Dead and I loved it cause I got to be a princess. In The Walking Dead they would put dirt on me. They put extensions on me, were fixing my hair, and let me wear a princess dress, it was really fun to do. It was a dream.

[on working with Melissa Mcbride] Melissa was so amazing, she is a big inspiration to me. She is so supportive of everyone. That is why they call it The Walking Dead family, because everyone is so supportive of each other and want the best.

The Walking Dead was a great experience where I got to play a really interesting and different dark character. I also learned a lot from the fellow cast and crew members. Playing Lizzie Samuels in the series and interacting with fans at conventions has shaped my view on my role, and my responsibility as an actress.

Horror movies, I kind of rather the ones about real life than the spiritual ones cause it kind of scares me when it is like this spirit thing that you cannot see. It feels like, I do not think I can fight it if I cannot see it. Like a kidnapper or something, it is like yes, I could actually have a chance.
