Leica hasn't come up with anything revolutionary in a very long time and is using sensors from more advanced camera/lens makers. The Q looks just like a rebadged RX1/R with minor improvements.

Sorry but it looks just like the Sony RX1, but with the EVF in the body. Nothing revolutionary there.

Couldn't agree more. The new Q seems like a glorified RX1/R. I wouldn't be surprised if the sensor was made by Sony.

Because Leica does not have the R&D and production capability to create their own high tech sensor like the one in the Q.

Yes, but the Q, which probably uses a Sony sensor, just seems like its marginally better than the Sony RX1/R and the A7RII with the new 35mm will outperform the Q both for pics and film

The Sony RX1 is one of the best fixed lens cameras in the world currently available...Hands down!
