The use of the term "white" (if it is at statistics, it is Caucasian, and indeed Slavic Race or Mediterranean Peoples are the two groups immediatley involved) is becoming increasingly a disparaging comment deserving of legal action for heinous academic behavior. "We've" (I thought that included the groups and individuals using "white" professionally) been asked to refrain from all kinds of terms by all kinds of groups (I've been with "retardation" and its use to hurt individuals), must be "us who are white", and I'd appreciate the same consideration for a change. As the article above said, most "whites" prefer to be called Americans, and I have now had to "revert" to American-Polish (as a cultural minority smaller than "black"). All set yet?!
