It's been hailed as the NASTIEST celebrity feud of all time ... but now, the 8-year war between Dwight Howard and his reality star ex, Royce Reed, is finally over ... TMZ Sports has learned. 

Saying these two HATED each other might be one the greatest understatements of all time -- he sued her for more than $500 million, she called the cops on him multiple times ... hate, hate, hate. 

But something drastic happened in the past few months -- with the two coming together and hashing out a truce ... and we're told it was all for the sake of their 8-year-old son.

Sources connected to both Dwight and Royce tell us family members from both sides teamed up and convinced them to reopen the lines of communication because it would be in the best interest for their son. 

Dwight and Royce agreed and have vowed to end the fighting -- instead focusing on co-parenting. 

As one source put it, "They decided to stop hating each other and made a promise to their son they would get along."

Royce posted a pic of the 3 hanging out at a recent NBA game -- but we're told there have been many more occasions where they've been together ... and so far, everything is peaceful.

Lamar Odom came through on his promise to take his kids to a Lakers game -- but it wasn't just any game -- LO brought his brood to see Kobe Bryant's final game at Staples Center.

Sources close to the situation tell TMZ Lamar flew in his teenage kids, Lamar Jr. and Destiny, on Tuesday ... it was the first time they'd seen LO since visiting him in the hospital in December.

The reunion also got a HUGE assist from Uncle Kobe ... 'cause we're told the Black Mamba gave LO tickets to come see his final game and threw in 2 extra for the kids. Kanye West was with them too. We're told Lamar's been making an extra effort lately to build his relationship with Destiny and Jr.

Mamba's last game was probably a good start to that.

T.I. is now in the business of delivering babies -- his own, anyway ... we'll see if he branches out.

Our photog caught up with the rapper at LAX and asked him a slew of questions about the birth of his third child with Tiny earlier this month -- and, according to Tip, he's a full hands-on dad.

Check out what T.I. said when we asked about his role in the delivery room. It's pretty hilarious, except we don't think he's kidding. Also ... it's pretty clear our photog doesn't understand child birthing.

Blue Ivy's fairy princess-themed 4th birthday party looks like it ran up a tab worthy of a celebrity wedding ... but that's just how Jay Z and Beyonce roll.

Blue turned 4 in January, but Bey just uploaded the pics from inside the shindig. Looks like the celebration included some Hunger Games-styled bow and arrow practice, and teepees ... for those serious 4-year-old sit-downs.

'Teen Mom' star Mackenzie McKee is expecting her third baby with husband Josh, but she'll be raising the kid as a single mom because they've finally called it quits.

McKee barely showed during her 18 week ultrasound. She's expecting a boy -- the due date is September 7th.

She says she's no longer living with Josh, the father of their 2-year-old daughter, Jaxie, and 4-year-old son, Gannon.

It's not the first time they've called it quits ... Josh walked out last April, but clearly came back.

At least McKee's not alone ... she now has something in common with a Hollywood A-lister.

Interesting clip with Brooklyn Decker ... who says she doesn't want her new baby son with Andy Roddick to follow in either of their footsteps when it comes to his future career. 

Of course, Decker is one of the most famous models in the world -- scoring the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition cover in 2010. And Roddick is one of the best American tennis players of all time. 

So, you'd think they'd want the kid to follow their lead ... since their professions have made them rich and famous beyond their wildest dreams ... but according to Brooklyn, it's just not the case. 

BONUS -- We also asked about Andy's recent victory over Andre Agassi over the weekend. Brooklyn was DEFINITELY impressed with her man's 135 mph serve! 

Paul Walker could have banked up to $80 million off his acting had his life not been cut short.

Universal executives had already committed to 3 more 'Fast and Furious' films while Paul and company were filming the seventh installment ... this according to legal docs in the wrongful death case filed by Paul's 17-year-old daughter Meadow.   

Meadow claims the additional movies -- plus other projects -- would have made his bank account swell by anywhere between $30 and $80 million.

Paul's earning prospects was a big factor in the settlement Meadow struck with the estate of the driver, Roger Rodas. The estate -- most likely the insurance co. -- paid her $10.1 million.

According to the docs ... Meadow and her mom got court permission to use $2 million from the settlement to buy a new house.

We got Louis Tomlinson out to lunch Thursday in Calabasas, and the pics prove his 2-and-a-half month old son Freddie is a living, breathing little tyke -- and not just a prop.

This has become a thing -- 1D fans are flooding social media with various #babygate conspiracy theories as to why the baby can't be real. They think Louis and his team are photoshopping images and using dolls to fake out the public.

Our sources say Tyga will not even speak to Chyna ... their only direct contact is email. We're told he changed his cell and won't give her the new number. Most of the parenting decisions are made with their nanny as the go-between.

What's more, our Chyna sources say Tyga and his crew have been on a campaign to destroy her reputation, calling her a "drunk whore," "deadbeat mama" and "nasty bitch." 

Madonna flew into London Wednesday, presumably to follow judge's orders and hash out a custody deal with ex-hubby Guy Ritchie.

A judge ordered Madge and Guy -- who have been at war for years over how to raise Rocco -- to come up with a plan on how they will handle custody of the 15-year-old, who now lives with Guy in London.

The judge laid down the law last month, urging them to call a truce for the benefit of the boy. And the judge made it clear ... if they don't come up with a plan, he will. 

No word if she bought 2 return tickets.
