  • One thing to try is to go into the "Picture Mode" in the menu and set up a "Custom" setting with Natural color and -2 for contrast ,sharpness ,saturation and  normal for gradation. This is the "no ...
  • Good points and I like the condition of "no major shifts in the technology...."   :-D
  • Ben, I think we have to watch two areas of development: FF lens patents and organic sensor development. If Oly knows something we don't, what we are seeing might be a "get ready" tactic. If sensor ...
  • Thanks for the good explanation of why you don't use eye-level finders. I have been curious. I do use eye-level finders but, I have a big chunk of experience with 6X6 SLR Bronicas with the usual ...
  • With the M5II I managed to get the rattle by changing a setting for the display. I think it was auto-gain up, but not sure now. I changed the setting back and forgot it  :-) Nice lens with almost ...
  • I have an M5II + MMF-3 and use my 5 FT lenses. The question of focus speed has to be framed by your needs/style. If you tend to be a deliberate photographer the FT and manual legacy lenses will ...

  • Replied in The Tree
After taking a closer look at the new growth it is probably a Live Oak. Not necessarily a native type, but possibley a hybrid. I have a hybrid Live Oak next to my house and the new growth pattern ...
