Payments Report
This report includes your payment amounts, tax
withholding, payment type, and other information in a view that you can filter
by sales period, marketplace, and payment status. To filter by sales period,
marketplace, or payment status, click the drop-down menus at the top of the
page and select the filter criteria you want.
You can use this report even if you've selected to be paid
by check, and you can download a copy of this report by clicking "Create
Excel Report."
When
you have qualifying sales in a given month, you will be paid approximately 60
days later. Around the 20th of each month, you will get a payment notification
e-mail indicating that this report will be ready for you to view. We used to
call that e-mail "Remittance Advice" and included this data there,
but now you can run the data any time once the payment has been processed.
Report Column Headings:
After you run a report, you'll see data in the following
columns:
* If your bank is still processing a payment, your Payment Status, FX Rate, and Payment columns will display "Pending" as their status.
** If your payment shows "Failed," make sure that the Payment Settings section of your KDP account matches what you have on file with your bank—exact match for routing and account numbers, as well as the name. You can publish using a pen name, but you must be paid under the same name your bank has on file. If you are waiting for a payment and have updated your account, use the Contact Us form to let us know you've made a change.
