During the title upload process there are two areas where you will be asked to confirm your rights to publish your content.

You can publish content that is in the public domain. We may request additional documentation to confirm that it is not under copyright. Titles which consist entirely or primarily of public domain content are not eligible for the 70% royalty option at this time (see the Pricing Page for more details).

In Step 1 (Your Book) of setting up your book, scroll down to Verify Your Publishing Rights and choose the publishing rights status for your content.

Select "This is a public domain work" if your title consists entirely or primarily of content that is in public domain.

If the content of your title is under copyright and you hold the necessary rights, select "This is not a public domain work and I hold the necessary publishing rights."

In Step 2 (Rights and Pricing) of the title setup, enter the territories where you hold electronic publishing rights to for your publication.

If you are certain you have all rights necessary to make this title available worldwide, select "Worldwide rights – all territories."

If your electronic publishing rights for this publication extend only to specific territories, select "Individual territories - select territories." After selecting this option, a list of territories will expand from which you can select.

Be sure to select only the territories you are certain you hold the necessary rights in. This will limit sales of your publication to only the selected territories.
