Chris Hemsworth Covers Vanity Fair, Reveals What Jennifer Lawrence "Can Get Away With" That He Can't

23 November 2015 11:03 AM, PST | E! Online | See recent E! Online news »

Typically Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade kicks off the Christmas season, but it looks like Chris Hemsworth and his Vanity Fair holiday cover are ringing things in this year! The 32-year-old The Huntsman Winter's War star looks as handsome as ever wearing jeans and a red T-Shirt with the words, "Help! It's Christmas" printed across his chest. Inside the mag, Chris speaks candidly about being grateful for his success yet perturbed by parts of what comes with it—like the paparazzi. The humble-to-a-fault Thor hunk tells Vanity Fair with a laugh that he's "not complaining," but it's clear he wishes he were able to like brother Liam Hemsworth's Hunger Games co-star. "What »

Yes, No, Maybe So : The Huntsman Winters War

19 November 2015 7:30 AM, PST | FilmExperience | See recent FilmExperience news »

Here's Murtada deconstructing the trailer for the ridiculously titled The Huntsman Winters War.

Yes

- The actresses of course. Emily Blunt, Jessica Chastain, Charlize Theron = a formidable trio.

- Chastain as a the Warrior. Yes!

- Blunt and Theron as dueling evil sisters. Yes again! May campiness rule the day.

- The oversize gestures of Blunt and Theron as they wreak havoc. Give me more!

- So it’s obviously all about the actresses. Oh and the possibility of a shirtless Chris Hemsworth.

No

- From the producer of Maleficent and Alice in Wonderland….. Nooooooo.

- Hemsworth gets top billing?? I guess he's The Hunstman.

- The CGI doesn't look very convincing.

- “Men have forgotten what it means to be afraid. We will bring fear”. Hmmm cheesy line. It could be fun if the tone is over the top campy. The trailer is playing it straight so we are dubious. »

Jessica Chastain Teases Chris Hemsworth About No Longer Being the Sexiest Man Alive

Sorry, Chris Hemsworth: You had your year, and now it's David Beckham's turn to be People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive! The Huntsman: Winter's War hunk is obviously just as good looking now as he was circa 2014, but that didn't stop co-star Jessica Chastain from having a little good-natured fun at his expense. She tweeted Hemsworth a link to Beckham's cover, adding comically, "Oh man...you must be devastated. I know how much this title meant to you." The 32-year-old Australian actor took the jibe in jest, of course. "Thank u @jes_chastain for your kind words & timely reminder that I'm now over the hill," he responded. Pitched as a prequel, Cedric Nicolas-Troyan’s film has its roots in Rupert Sanders’ relatively successful Snow White and the Huntsman that was released back in 2012 – not to mention the returning Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth – though today’s all-new trailer showcases a very different adventure.

Have you ever wanted to know more about The Huntsman, the axe-man sent to take down Snow White?  Well, you’re about to find out that there’s more to this hunter than you might have expected.

Chris Hemsworth returns as Eric, The Huntsman in this sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman.  This time around, we’ve ditched Snow White because who needs her anyway when you have a trio of deadly kick-ass women front and centre in The Huntsman: Winter’s War?

Charlize Theron is back as the beguiling and brutal Queen Ravenna, whose costumes and wicked ways stunned audiences in the 2012 film.  Joining her are Emily Blunt as the Snow Queen, Freya, and Jessica Chastain as Sara, aka The Warrior.

Don’t let the film’s fairytale roots fool you.  This is a prequel to an epic saga of hatred, war, and revenge.  Before Theron’s »

First Trailer For The Huntsman: Winter’s War

18 November 2015 8:41 AM, PST | www.themoviebit.com | See recent TheMovieBit news »

We’ve seen quite a bit of Snow White and the Huntsman spin-off, The Huntsman: Winter’s War, over the last few days, and now Universal have released the first official trailer from Cedric Nicolas-Troyan’s fantasy actioner. The original pitched itself as a contemporary fairytale, and that hasn’t changed second time round, with even more action and CG monsters coming along for the ride. One strange problem I have with the trailer though is the muted colour palette. Sure, it gets across that this is a darker fairytale, but it just comes across as very dull, and in conflict with the colourful CGI. It’s a minor niggle though, with the cast alone making me very interested in seeing how this turns out. Released: April 22nd 2016 Synopsis: Long before the evil Queen Ravenna (Charlize Theron) was thought vanquished by Snow White’s blade, she watched silently as her sister, »

First trailer for 'The Huntsman' is a scenery-chewing feast of powerful women

18 November 2015 8:30 AM, PST | Hitfix | See recent Hitfix news »

When “Snow White and the Huntsman” came out in 2012, it was at the height of the overly-saturated CGI fantasy world trend. With a generic look and story the film underperformed domestically and the scandal that erupted between director Rupert Sanders and lead actress Kristen Stewart appeared to put the nails in any sequel coffin. But I’m so glad it didn’t. Charlize Theron’s Evil Queen in “Snow White” was one of the most deliciously over-the-top villains in recent memory. By the final battle, you really wanted her to eat Snow White’s heart and rule the world with a diamond-encrusted iron fist. Hollywood must have thought so too, because she’s back for “The Huntsman: Winter's War” along with her little sister Freya (Emily Blunt). Together the two of them will face off against Freya’s former protege, The Warrior (Jessica Chastain). Oh yeah, Chris Hemsworth is there too. »

The Huntsman Trailer: Winter's War Is Here With A Ton Of Great Actors

18 November 2015 8:25 AM, PST | cinemablend.com | See recent Cinema Blend news »

Snow White & The Huntsman was an alternate telling of a classic fairytale before even Disney decided that was a thing that they should do. Now the sequel is on it.s way and they.re focusing on what worked the first time around and replacing the parts that did not. We.re not following the character of Kristen Stewart.s Snow White but rather Chris Hemsworth Huntsman, and he.s co-starring with one of the strongest casts of women we.ve ever seen. In what looks to be the dark, live-action version of Frozen that you know somebody was already puzzling over at Disney, The Huntsman: Winter.s War focuses on the Ice Queen, the sister of the defeated Evil Queen from the last film. By getting her hands on the Magic Mirror, she is able to resurrect her sister who died in the last film. The Huntsman is »
