Havoc's a very decent package overall. As part one of the Season Pass, this is a strong chunk of content for the sharpest COD in years. It mixes fan service with proper map design, and gives those still addicted to that ADS snap more reason than ever to keeping plugging away towards that next prestige.

It’s a solid value given how much time can be spent with the new maps.

    A strong compilation. [Apr 2015, p.88]

It's not original in tactical design, but it's still a solid offer for the COD aficionados, and it confirms Sledgehammer's talent.
  5. I have never seen satisfying Call of Duty DLC before Havoc: New maps, new weapon and weapon variants and exso zombies mode. Unfortunately, the weapon that comes with DLC needs a bit balancing, and if you don't like CoD: Advanced Warfare, Havoc DLC may not pique your interest.

The maps alone in the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Havoc DLC are an average affair, but Exo Zombies rises this package slightly above the cut. I love the new cast, the Exosuits makes a world of difference, and I'm digging the Hollywood cheese of the story.

Except the Exo Zombies mode that can keep you busy for a few hours, the other additions of Havoc (4 new maps and the AE4 assault rifle) are not refreshing enough to make this DLC essential.

Easy 10, Zombies is literally hours of fun, plus the new maps are all really well built. Best DLC in a long time. Also, while Zombies isEasy 10, Zombies is literally hours of fun, plus the new maps are all really well built. Best DLC in a long time. Also, while Zombies is missing a few things, I am super happy with the updated things, like the gun upgrade that doesn't take an eternity. Working EXO's into this was also a great idea. Expand

I actually prefer these maps to the ones in the base game. Definitely a worthy expansion, and I don't understand all the criticism this gameI actually prefer these maps to the ones in the base game. Definitely a worthy expansion, and I don't understand all the criticism this game gets in general - I still find Call Of Duty:AW to be the most fun multiplayer experience available.

Side note: Playing the very meh Battlefield: Hardline just made me want to fire up COD:AW.

Maps are brilliant as a whole (no useless dlc maps like a lot of games do nowadays) and EXO zombies is brilliant fun to lose plenty of hoursMaps are brilliant as a whole (no useless dlc maps like a lot of games do nowadays) and EXO zombies is brilliant fun to lose plenty of hours in. However, on drift there is one spawn which messes up the map again, but i'm sure they can patch it. The new weapon is pretty fun too. I like that AW seens to be the first good cod since MW2 (for me). This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Let's keep this one short.
Urban: Way too small map and boring, Sledgehammer, better map please?
Core: A destroyed nuclear plant with good vantage points and good places for cover.
Drift: Nice christmastown with a little surprise for you if you don't watch out...
Sideshow: A great horror-inspired map. It looks a pretty normal, but cozy map in the beginning, but half-way through the map, that cozyness is over. AKA, oh, no, the clown!
