Is Wonder Woman the Real Star of 'Batman v Superman'?

Earlier this month, reports surfaced that Warner Bros. has already started to screen Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice to a select number of people, and the reactions from those screenings reportedly made the studio very "nervous" about the massive DC Universe the movie sets up. There was speculation that the studio may delay Justice League Part 1, in favor of a Batman Reboot that Ben Affleck would reportedly star in and direct, since the studio was quite pleased with his work in the movie. However, that isn't happening since it was recently confirmed that Justice League Part 1 will start shooting in April. On an episode of the Collider Heroes podcast, Chris Gore revealed that he also knows someone who has seen the movie, revealing that the "stand-out" star is Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman.

"I know someone who has seen Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and the stand-out of the movie is Wonder Woman. »

Watch Leonard DiCaprio Get His Oscar Engraved

22 years after getting his first Oscar nomination in 1994 for What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Leonardo DiCaprio finally won his first Oscar for his riveting performance in The Revenant last night. What many don't realize is, when the winners receive their Oscar on stage, it's completely blank, and after the ceremony, each winner gets their award engraved. Earlier today, Variety posted a new video on their Twitter account, which shows the actor getting his Oscar nameplate engraved.

Leonardo DiCaprio was previously nominated for What's Eating Gilbert Grape, The Aviator, Blood Diamond and The Wolf of Wall Street. Perhaps one of his most infamous Oscar moments was when he wasn't even nominated for the record-breaking blockbuster Titanic, which went on to win 11 Oscars including Best Picture. The actor didn't even show up to the Oscar ceremony in 1998, which lead some to theorize that the Academy was collectively upset that he didn't put in an appearance. »

Original 'Crow' Director Thinks the Remake Is a Bad Idea

Back in November, it was revealed that the long-awaited remake of The Crow will finally start shooting this spring, after Relativity Media emerges from its bankruptcy proceedings. Director Corin Hardy is on board to direct, although the project still hasn't cast its lead character Eric Draven quite yet. While we wait for more updates on this project, Alex Proyas, who directed the original 1994 classic The Crow, chimed in with his thoughts on the reboot, while promoting his new movie Gods of Egypt with Collider. Here's what he had to say below.

"I personally feel like it's kind of unnecessary. I've said this many times, I've completed the original movie to honor Brandon and that's the sole reason I did it. I'm happy I did it for that reason. I sort of feel like it's his legacy and I personally don't have a lot of time for people trying to reignite that movie in other ways. »

'Batman v Superman' Deleted Scene Sends Jimmy Kimmel to the Rescue?

Last night after The Academy Awards, Jimmy Kimmel Live! held his annual post-Oscars special on ABC, which featured a number of stars including Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice's Ben Affleck. During his interview segment with Jimmy Kimmel, the star revealed that a Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice scene he shot with the talk show host had to be cut for time, but, thankfully, he brought this clip for everyone to see. Unfortunately, this scene won't be featured when Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters on March 25, but it certainly is entertaining.

Of course, this isn't an actual scene from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but it's a parody of one scene we've seen in the previously released trailers, with Henry Cavill's Clark Kent meeting Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne for the first time. Jimmy Kimmel plays himself. Things take a hilarious turn »

Oscars 2016 Ratings Hit 8-Year Low

Despite one of the most highly anticipated opening monologues in Oscars history, and a controversy that just wouldn't go away, the 88th Annual Academy Awards failed to live up to past expectations. And when it comes to live ratings, the telecast hit an 8-year low. This despite the fact that host Chris Rock came out swinging, holding his momentum throughout the night, and Leonardo DiCaprio winning his first ever Oscar for Best Actor.

The 88th Annual Academy Awards took the diversity issue head-on, addressing the #OscarsSoWhite campaign right out of the gate. And some big surprises kept the show humming. But Oscars 2016 is going down in the record books as one of the lowest rated telecasts in recent memory, with a 23.1/37 in metered market results. This was an 8 year low for the awards show, which is coming up on its 90th Anniversary.

Ratings for the 88th Annual Academy Awards were down 6% from last year's ceremony, »
