'Doctor Strange' Set Photos Reveal Mads Mikkelsen's Villain

Over the weekend, new set photos surfaced from Doctor Strange, which revealed stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Chiwetel Ejiofor in action. Shooting continues in New York today, and CumberbatchWeb has posted even more set photos, some of which give us our first look at Mads Mikkelsen as the mysterious villain. Unfortunately, we don't know who exactly this character is yet, but as you can see in the set photos, he certainly has an intriguing look.

The actor is seen wearing intricate facial makeup around his eyes, and in some photos, he's seen alongside an unspecified woman, who also has the same makeup around her eyes. It's worth noting that the set looks quite similar to photos we saw earlier this weekend, so it seems that these unknown characters may be doing battle with the Sorcerer Supreme and Baron Mordo. It isn't known how much shooting is left on Doctor Strange, but »

Here's what the actress had to say below, about how she messed up her lines in a scene at Resistance headquarters.

"I'm the custodian of Princess Leia, so it's my job to kind of protect her. It's my whole life, so I was very nervous. The first day I had was this massive scene. I was scared that I would make mistakes, and I made mistakes. It was basically the worst day I ever had on a film set in my life. »

'SNL' Goes Behind-the-Scenes of 'Game of Thrones' with Peter Dinklage

Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage hosted NBC's Saturday Night Live last night, the show's first episode following a three-week hiatus. As expected, the late-night comedy series poked some fun at Game of Thrones, which returns for its highly-anticipated sixth season on Sunday, April 24. Hulu has released a sketch from last night's episode, where Peter Dinklage and several SNL cast members tease how the iconic dragons are brought to life on the show.

SNL star Bobby Moynihan is featured in this sketch as an intense motion capture actor who portrays one of Daenerys Targaryen's dragons, Drogon, who gets a little too close for comfort in a scene with Peter Dinklage. Game of Thrones. This sketch also features Kate McKinnon as Daenerys and Taran Killam as Jorah Mormont from the hit series. While it seems unlikely that this is how the actual dragons are created on the show, this sketch is quite hilarious nonetheless. »

'Batman v Superman' Wins Weekend #2 at the Box Office with $52.3M

When most movies open with huge box office numbers on their opening weekend, they typically drop a significant amount in their second weekend. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was no different in its second frame in theaters, dipping a massive 68.4% but still remaining atop the box office with $52.3 million, according to the estimates from Box Office Mojo. There were only two new releases opening in theaters, God's Not Dead 2 and Meet the Blacks, but neither came close to surpassing Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Last weekend, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice surpassed its own expectations, taking in $166 million domestically and $424 million worldwide, the best global debut for any superhero movie in history. Still, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice didn't fare well with critics. The superhero movie continues to drop on Rotten Tomatoes, currently standing at a 28% Rotten rating, but the audience score is still overwhelmingly positive, »

'The Purge 3' Was Inspired by Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton

2 April 2016 4:34 PM, PDT

The real-life presidential campaign looks like something out of a movie, so should it come as any surprise that it has inspired one? The summer sequel The Purge: Election Year has been directly influenced by the two presidential front runners Donald Trump and Hillary Rodham Clinton. Taking place in the near future, this latest installment of the popular franchise is a political conspiracy thriller that is decidedly different from the previous two entries.

The movie revolves around a fictional presidential campaign, pitting rivals against each other played by Elizabeth Mitchell and Kyle Secor. The main difference between their campaigns is that Elizabeth Mitchell's Charlene 'Charlie' Roan wants to end the annual Purge holiday that allows criminals to roam free and commit whatever acts they want, including murder, during a 24 hour grace period. PEuTVyuu5InZyA||Kyle Secor} wants to keep the holiday in place.

'Batman v Superman' Featurette Shows How Zod's Body Was Made

2 April 2016 3:58 PM, PDT

For the blockbuster Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Adi created two ultra-realistic replicas of the deceased General Zod that would withstand close scrutiny by a camera lense. Fitness trainer Greg Plitt came to Adi for us to lifecast his body from the neck down while our colleague Barney Burman loaned us a headcast of actor Michael Shannon. Once the Shannon headcast was copied both the head and body were run in silicone with a polyfoam fill to make them solid. Tony Matijevich, Brian Clawson, and Tim Leach created both Zod bodies. Denise Baer punched hair; Mike Larrabee painted both Zods. You can check out the whole process in this cool new video,

Following his titanic struggle against General Zod, Metropolis has been razed to the ground and Superman is the most controversial figure in the world. While for many he is still an emblem of hope, a growing number »

'Justice League' Vs. 'Avengers' in Worlds Collide Fan Trailer

2 April 2016 3:26 PM, PDT

In the 80s, we were lucky to get one superhero movie a year featuring either a single Marvel or DC Comics character. Now, fans throw a fit if their latest comic book movie doesn't have at least a handful of iconic heroes fighting each other. Last week we saw Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which unleashes most of the main Dceu line-up. And this summer, Captain America: Civil War will have nearly all of Marvel characters taking a swing at each other. So, where does Hollywood go from here?

A DC and Marvel crossover movie, of course! Don't laugh, it has to happen. But surely won't in this lifetime. Perhaps in 3030 or 4015 we'll get to see who's strongest on screen, Captain America or Superman. It's the only logical next step to keep the summer spectacles coming. While we don't doubt it will happen sometime in the future, a proper »

'The Flash' Movie Teams Barry Allen and Cyborg

2 April 2016 3:03 PM, PDT

It sounds like Warner Bros. and DC are taking a page out of the Marvel playbook when it comes to their solo movies. The Avengers standalone adventures usually feature at least one other member of the team. And the same will probably be true for some of the upcoming DC spinoffs. While we haven't heard that Superman is officially showing up in Wonder Woman, that idea has been teased. And we know for sure that Batman is taking a stand against the Joker in Suicide Squad. Now we have it on good authority that two more Justice League members are teaming up in one of these side outings.

Producer Deborah Snyder was chatting with Forbes, and seemingly confirmed that Cyborg will be showing up in The Flash. And it sounds like it will be more than just a cameo appearance. She explains as such.

"When we get to the Flash movie, »

Dave Bautista Joins 'Blade Runner 2'?

2 April 2016 2:01 PM, PDT

The Untitled Blade Runner Project is starting to really heat up. We've known for awhile that Harrison Ford will be back to reprises his lead role as Rick Deckard. Ryan Gosling will co-star in the movie. Robin Wright has a secret role in this Denis Villeneuve directed sci-fi sequel. And now, one of the Guardians of the Galaxy is teasing a key character.

While it hasn't been made official yet, it sounds like Dave Bautista is the latest cast addition for Blade Runner 2. He has shared a new photo on his Facebook page. While he doesn't mention the movie by name, he is seen holding the iconic origami unicorn from the 1982 original Blade Runner. Here's what he has to say, as attached to the photo seen below.

"I can't wait to share some really exciting news..."

Golden Globe winner Robin Wright is now in final negotiations to join Alcon Entertainment »

'Batman v Superman' Suffers a Massive Drop Off at the Box Office

2 April 2016 12:06 PM, PDT

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice does not have the staying power previous blockbusters such as Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Deadpool have experienced in recent months. Heck, it's not even doing as well in its second weekend as the animated Disney hit Zootopia. And this does not bode well for the Dceu.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice earned just $15.4 million dollars at the domestic box office on its second Friday in release. The movie is currently screening in 4,256 theaters. So far, it has racked up $224.4 million, which would be very impressive for a lesser movie. But this is Warner Bros.' big shot at not only setting up the Justice League but all of the Dceu spinoffs that come with it. In comparison, Batman v Superman earned $81.6 million last Friday, including $27.7 million from Thursday Night previews. Even without the Thursday numbers, we're looking at a drastic 70% drop »

'Bad Boys 3' Is Still Waiting on a Script

2 April 2016 11:04 AM, PDT

Bad Boys 3 is just a little over a year away. But it doesn't sound like any progress has been made on the long-anticipated sequel since Sony moved it out of the February 17, 2017 release window, bumping it into summer of next year. By all accounts, the movie should be heading into production soon. But perhaps there is another delay in the cards? Producer Jerry Bruckheimer gave a quick update on the movie this weekend while being honored at the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television. And it doesn't sound too promising.

"We have to get the script in. Once we get that, we'll make a lot of decisions."

While most assumed that Bad Boys 3 would start production in the second half of 2016, Will Smith is set to start shooting Bright later this year. A cop thriller that revolves orcs and fairies, this fantasy adventure reunites Will Smith with »

23 Biggest Summer Movies Coming in 2016

2 April 2016 9:42 AM, PDT

Summertime is slowly creeping its lovely, hot, bright shining head into our lives. And for many of us that means one thing: Movies. The summer movie, like the Halloween movie and the awards season movie, is a special beast. Many of them are filled with anticipation, a lot of of them are sequels or related to previous films, and most of them cost the price of a small island.

What makes 2016 such an interesting year is that we have superheroes fighting each other in Captain America: Civil War. The return of a character by an actor who had previously written off this defining role in Jason Bourne. An 80s franchise that has gotten a serious reboot in Ghostbusters. I could go on and on but like many of the summer film lists from years past, we are seeing something old, something new and sometimes something we don't really know what »

Watch Rob Zombie's Insane New Music Video 'Everybody's in a U.F.O.'

1 April 2016 6:26 PM, PDT

Before Rob Zombie became an acclaimed horror director with such cult hits as House Of 1000 Corpses, The Devil's Rejects and The Lords of Salem, he was an acclaimed rock musician who directed his own music videos. Today, he returns to that realm with a new music video/short film called Everybody's (bleeping) in a U.F.O. And it's pretty insane!

This creepy sci-fi extravaganza stars a host of special guests and musicians including Rob Zombie himself, who takes the lead. We also get to see John 5, Piggy D, Ginger Fish, Jeff Daniel Phillips and the ever present Sheri Moon Zombie as Miss Bunny Peachbottom. Bunny has had sex with an extraterrestrial and lives to tell about it. Now, she's sharing her exploits with a class full of astronauts. Yeah, it's pretty weird, and only gets weirder from there.

This short film/music video is definitely Nsfw. And »

'Suicide Squad': Jared Leto Unveils New Bearded Joker Look

1 April 2016 5:27 PM, PDT

Fans don't seem to be too into the April Fools' Day jokes this year. While Mark Hamill tried to punk Star Wars lovers earlier this morning, they just weren't having it. And now Jared Leto has disappointed followers with his big Joker reveal for the spring holiday. Suicide Squad fans were asked to tweet #JokerWasHere in an April Fools' Day social media campaign. But the results proved to be less than exciting for some.

Those eager to tweet out the hashtag thought we'd be getting new Suicide Squad footage. Perhaps a clip that featured the Joker? Maybe a new TV spot? Something? Anything? Nope, instead, actor Jared Leto played everyone by instead releasing a strange home video, which shows his Joker with a beard.

The bearded Joker will not be showing up in Suicide Squad as far as we know. Or will he? The movie is currently undergoing reshoots to »

On Sunday night, Season 6 of AMC's hit series The Walking Dead will come to a close, which will be followed by the spinoff Fear the Walking Dead kicking off its second season on April 10. After the first half of that season wraps, fans will be treated to another genre series with the May 22 debut of Preacher.
