Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is chocked full of divisive moments that fans are still discussing, following its release on March 25. One of these scenes is known as the "Knightmare" sequence, which most assumed were bizarre dreams that Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) is having, featuring our first look at Ezra Miller as The Flash, along with a huge Easter Egg: Darkseid's massive Omega symbol. We'll have to wait and see how these sequences truely play into the story that continues with Justice League Part 1. But Jay Oliva, who served as a concept artist on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and has directed several DC animated movies like Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox, has now shed some light on this sequence during an appearance on the Hall of Justice Podcast. Diego Luna's 'Star Wars: Rogue One' Character Name Revealed?

It's rumored that we won't get the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story trailer until Captain America: Civil War hits theaters this May. And it's looking like we won't get any confirmation about the characters in this next Star Wars movie until that time. But thanks to Making Star Wars, we might now know the name of Diego Luna's role, rumored to be a Rebel spy who infiltrates the Imperial Senate.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story takes place prior to the events seen in Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope, with a group of Rebels on a heist mission to steal plans to the first dreaded Death Star. So far, no character names have been revealed for the movie. Many believed that Diego Luna was playing Luke's friend Biggs Darklighter. While they have similar looks, it sounds like Diego Luna is playing a completely new character. »

Doctor Strange hasn't been properly introduced into the McU yet, and he isn't expected to be introduced in Captain America: Civil War either. But that didn't stop directors Anthony Russo and Joe Russo from sharing a Gif image on their Facebook page, revealing which side the Sorcerer Supreme is on.

The Gif image is taken from a scene we've already seen in the Captain America: Civil War trailer, where Team Cap and Team Iron Man battle each other on an airport runway. The filmmakers decided to use their editing skills to insert the Sorcerer Supreme alongside Team »

This Comedian Turned Down a Cameo in 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens'

We've heard a lot about the secret cameos in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which include Daniel Craig playing a mind-controlled Stormtrooper and Simon Pegg appearing as the Jakku alien Unkar Plutt. But this is the first we've heard about someone turning down a role in the blockbuster sequel. Sure, the idea that someone would walk away from getting to play a character in the Star Wars universe, no matter how small, sounds almost implausible. But this guy had a very good reason.

So, which former talk show host and comedian turned down a role in Star Wars: The Force Awakens? It was none other than Jon Stewart, who used to head the The Daily Show. Being a big fan of the franchise, he was quite game to participate. But when he learned what his role would be, he decided against stepping foot on set.

You see, Jon Stewart had »

How Big Is the Mothership in 'Independence Day 2'?

We've seen big spaceships on screen before. But everything else pales in comparison to what is about to be unleashed in theaters this summer. Director Roland Emmerich is back to helm the long awaited sequel to the 1996 sci-fi classic Independence Day. And from the sounds of it, not even the largest IMAX screen in the world can contain the massive VFX that will be on display in Independence Day: Resurgence.

The first act in Independence Day literally blew people's minds. Things kicked off with huge alien spaceships entering earth's atmosphere. Then they exploded the loving crap out of every major landmark including the White House. It would be nearly impossible for the human race to resurrect all of these grand structures in just twenty years. Independence Day: Resurgence shows they've given it a good try. But it might all be in vein. Says Roland Emmerich about the size of the Aliens' mothership. »

It sounds like Speedy Gonzales and some of his friends south of the border are about to embark on a heist adventure. And Warner Bros. has landed Mexican royalty to help bring the super fast rodent to the big screen in his first ever solo movie.

Yes, Mexico's much believed actor and filmmaker Eugenio Derbez will be breathing life into Speedy Gonzales. At this time, there are no story details for this animated adventure. But unlike other recent Saturday Morning adaptations, this one won't have a live-action element. Eugenio Derbez had this to say about accepting the role originated by the late great Mel Blanc from 1953 to 1989.

'Last of Us' Movie Is Stuck in Development Hell

Back in 2014, filmmaker Sam Raimi announced to a packed Hall H crowd at Comic Con that he is working on a movie adaptation of the hit video game The Last of Us, co-writing the script with Naughty Dog's Neil Druckmann, who directed the video game. It was teased at the Sdcc panel that the movie adaptation may star Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams and Bruce Campbell. We haven't heard any updates on the project for quite some time, but IGN managed to catch up with Neil Druckmann, who confirmed the project has slipped into "development hell."

Here's Why 'The Walking Dead' Season 6 Cliffhanger Had to Happen

Fans aren't happy this morning. For months now, they've been promised that the arrival of Jeffrey Dean Morgan's http://movieweb.com/walking-dead-season-6-finale-cliffhanger-negan-victim/Negan would bring the death of one much-loved Walking Dead character. And while that certainly happened, we're still as in the dark about who this dead character is as we were when we first found out this was how The Walking Dead Season 6 finale would end sometime last year. The build up to the episode titled Last Day on Earth worked as its own contained cliffhanger. Now, as we impatiently wait through summer, this cliffhanger has become extended and expanded, and it's quite irritating. But showrunner Scott M. Gimple claims it's all for the greater good of the show. And not just some stunt.

The Walking Dead Season 6 went out swinging, literally, as Negan played a rousing game of Eenie Meenie before choosing his victim. Yes, »

While the project hasn't been officially confirmed by Warner Bros., or given a release date yet, the actor-filmmaker's agent recently confirmed that he has already written the script for this untitled movie, which he was reportedly developing with DC's Geoff Johns. During an interview with Joe.ie, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder revealed that he's still trying to convince Ben Affleck to make this project, but it may not happen for quite some time.

Huge 'Batman v Superman' Box Office Drop Off Doesn't Concern Warner Bros.

While any movie's opening weekend is incredibly important at the box office, the second weekend is often an indication of a movie's endurance in theaters. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice broke records by opening with $166 million last weekend, but it suffered a sharp 69% drop this weekend, earning $51.8 million, a figure that's slightly less than the $52.3 million estimates posted on Sunday. The Hollywood Reporter recently spoke to Warner Bros. domestic distribution chief Jeff Goldstein, who revealed the studio isn't worried about such a big second weekend drop.

"We're not concerned with the drop. No matter how you slice it, to get to $52 million on any given weekend is an enormous accomplishment. We're most focused on where we are in total. And our global number is huge."

As of now, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has earned $260.9 million domestically and $421.4 million internationally for a global take of $682.3 million. The superhero »
