iZombie Season 2: Kristen Bell to Lend Her Voice to Fifty Shades of Grey-Inspired Episode

29 December 2015 2:09 PM, PST | TVovermind.com | See recent TVovermind.com news »

Back at San Diego Comic-Con in July, when he was asked about Veronica Mars alumni appearing in iZombie Season 2, executive producer and showrunner Rob Thomas stated how he would love to have Kristen Bell on the CW series at some point, although he mentioned that he wouldn’t expect it to happen during the show’s second season. However, as first reported by EW.com, it turns out that Bell will actually (sort of) be guesting on iZombie in Season 2 with a voice-over role in an upcoming episode. Per EW, Bell will lend her voice in Episode 11 of iZombie Season 2, titled “Fifty Shades of Grey Matter,” which is scheduled to air on Jan. 26. During the hour, “things get interesting for Liv (Rose McIver) after she consumes the brain of a young librarian who was poisoned, and who also happened to secretly be an erotic fiction writer.” As of right now, »

Ratings shmatings.

The CW has ordered additional episodes of Nielsen weaklings Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and iZombie, TVLine has learned.

Well-reviewed rookie comedy Crazy Ex, which attracted less than 1 million viewers last Monday, has received an order for five more episodes, bringing its Season 1 total to 18.

Meanwhile, iZombie — which last week lost 65 percent of its Flash lead-in — nabbed an order for six additional episodes (for a Season 2 total of 19).

'iZombie': Why It's Time for Clive to Find Out Liv's Secret

26 October 2015 11:30 PM, PDT | buddytv.com | See recent BuddyTV news »

Despite some really questionable (and objectionable) choices with Major, "iZombie" is having a great Season 2. The mysteries are stronger, the brain-induced transformations are funnier and the ensemble is being better utilized. Well the ensemble with the exception of Clive Babineaux. While originally a vital part of iZombie, Clive has drifted to the background in terms of importance. He is still very present but he's more a very vocal part of the scenery nowadays. This needs change. It's time that Clive learned Liv's secret.

Uh-Oh, iZombie Boss Just Revealed Some Major Season 2 Plans That Are Equal Parts Hilarious and Horrifying

9 June 2015 7:00 PM, PDT | E! Online | See recent E! Online news »

For a show about zombies eating brains, iZombie sure likes to rip out our hearts as well, huh? That season one finale really put us through the ringer tonight (raise your hand if you need a hug, because we sure do). From Liv (Rose McIver) having to turn Major (Robert Buckley) into a zombie to save his life, only to give him the last batch of the cure to turn him back when it became clear he would never forgive her, only to then find out her younger brother was in critical condition in the hospital and needs her blood to survive his injuries, meaning she just saved her relationship at the expense of her brother's life...man, iZombie was not playing around! And we haven't even mentioned that epic, »

TV Ratings: 'NCIS,' 'Voice' lead Tuesday as 'iZombie' holds without 'Flash'

8 April 2015 8:48 AM, PDT | Hitfix | See recent Hitfix news »

Fast National ratings for Tuesday, April 7, 2015. True to Tuesday form, "NCIS" kicked off CBS' across-the-board overall sweep, while "The Voice" and "Chicago Fire" rant the table for NBC in the key demographic. Otherwise, there weren't many notables on Tuesday.  "New Girl" dipped below The Mulaney Line with a new episode, but "Weird Loners" managed not to fall in the key demo. "Fresh Off The Boat" and "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." both ticked up 0.1 in the key demo. And, in its first original airing without a new "The Flash" as a lead-in, The CW's "iZombie" was encouragingly flat week-to-week, building on a "Flash" repeat. [Note that The CW was preempted for election coverage in Chicago. I have no clue how much difference that will make, nor if other Chicago-area affiliates were similarly preempted. And even if "iZombie" ticks down 0.1 or something in Finals, that would still seem encouraging.] On to the numbers... Among adults 18-49, NBC averaged a 2.4 rating for Tuesday night, comfortably beating the 1.7 rating for CBS in the key demographic. ABC averaged a 1.2 key demo rating for the night, beating the 1.0 key demo rating for Fox, while The »
