NOTE : First of all, there are 2 different models of these on sale. The one i bought came with Linpus Linux and a Windows driver cd included in the box. The earlier versions sold here came with only DOS and no driver cd in the box. Specs-wise both are the same laptop.
This is currently the cheapest Core i5 5th Gen laptop out there. You can install Ubuntu 15.04 or Windows with ease, however WiFi won't work by default on Ubuntu 15.10. You can use a cheap WiFi dongle, or fix the on wifi using some commands.

# Fixing WiFi on Ubuntu 15.10 #
Get connected to Internet first via Ethernet or some a WiFi dongle and then type following commands one by one.
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install linux-headers-generic build-essential
wget [...] 20151120.tar.gz
tar -zxvf backports-20151120.tar.gz
cd backports-20151120
make defconfig-ath10k
make
sudo make install
After the above command, remove WiFi dongle / Ethernet Cables and reboot the system. Your WiFi adapter should come to life now ;)
After you have updated Kernel and if WiFi breaks again, do the following commands to get back the WiFi
cd backports-20151120
make clean
make defconfig-ath10k
make
sudo make install

# Design and Screen : It doesnt look like a Cheap laptop at all. It has a nice Matte finish. The screen is reflective though. Overall quality of the display is satisfactory.
# Keyboard and Touchpad : Keyboard keys are smaller than my older Acer laptop. However, once you get use to it, it wont be that problamatic to type. Touchpad is good and responsive - two finger scrolling works flawlessly on Ubuntu. The power button is placed at the top right corner of the keyboard instead of a separate section which i think is a very bad decision. It has taken the place of END button. Check out the below product images to get a better idea about the keyboard layout.
# Performance : It is powered by Intel Core i5 5th Gen 5200U processor. Responsive,fast and Snappy. Currently there are two RAM slots, of which one is occupied with a 4GB one. It supports up to 16GB of RAM. So get an 8GB module and load it up on the empty slot. You would have to remove the warranty void sticker in order to remove the back cover. However, unless you damange some component, upgrading ram do not Void the warranty even if the sticker is torn. If in doubt contact Acer Customer care and make sure it is allowed.
# Operating System Supported : Windows 10, Windows 8, Linux. It came with Windows drivers CD in the box - no need to search online for appropriate drivers for this Laptop.
# Ports : 2 USB 3.0, 1 USB 2.0, HDMI Port, Card Reader.
# Battery Backup : Around 3 hours - ofcoz depends on the your usage, screen brightness etc. It has a 37.0Wh battery made by Sanyo.
~ Cons ~
1) You can't remove and replace battery like you do it in other Laptops
2) Placement of the power button - frustrates me often, hitting the Power Button often as it occupies the END button's place at the top right corner.
3) WiFi do not work by default on Ubuntu 15.10
# Conclusion
Overall a nice laptop, great value for money. If you are planning to buy this laptop, do it from an Amazon FulFilled Seller, so that if in case you experience some issues, you can return it with ease.

Pros:
(1) Very cheap laptop for given configurations.
(2) Has all the required input ports like HDMI,VGA, USB, audio jack, dvd drive etc.
(3) Light and sleek. Looks good.
Cons:
(1) Comes with dos OS. Very tedious to set up windows and all the correct drivers for laptop model-windows combination.
(2) Mediocre screen. Contrast and brightness is not that good.

Steps to set up windows in dos laptop:
(1) download windows ISO file and put it in pen drive.(see video)
(2) Start acer laptop and continually press F2 to get to BIOS menu.
(3) In "boot " menu "enable" F12 boot and change option to boot from USB instead of HDD (shown in video).
(4) Restart by putting PenDrive in laptop pressing F12. Select "boot from USB".
(4) Now it'll boot from PD and start installing windows. Continue as normal installation (shown in video).
(5) Once windows is installed then restart and go back to BIOS menu to change boot option to boot from HDD ( since now windows is installed in HDD).
Run PC with windows!
To install correct drivers:
(1) Create ID and register your product (laptop) in Acer's website.
(2) In "products " menu of the site feed in you serial number or product ID. It'll suggest all the compatible drivers.
(3) Install the drivers.

Laptop is good for its price... Though I use my laptop mainly for browsing and programming purposes and not for heavy gaming, After using for about more than a month I have not faced any issue..
Design-4/5.. Matte finish looks quite impressive
Performance- 4/5..With i5 fifth gen and 4gb ram u get an optimal performance.. My advice if you are using VMware or some heavy servers running in your system/playing heavy games increase ram because 4gb is little less for me.
Operating System Supported : 3/5..I am using windows 10 64 bit
(it works great). Avoid using the Linpus OS installed...It will also run Windows 8/linux.. Dont use win7 as you wont get any drivers for that.. The only reason I gave it 2 less stars because of the difficulty I faced installing Windows 10.. Donno why Acer people gave such a crap OS(Linpus) which no one actually uses it.
Battery backup-4/5... very good. about 3.5 hrs..
Keyboard and touchpad-4/5.. good.. only problem I faced that the indicator switches are not there...
Final verdict- Go for it.. I got this at about 31590 which is very good for its price..

Bought this lappy on big billions days with bank cards offer at rs 28240. Which lappy has core i5 at this price? Simply none in 2015. Rest of the hardware can be upgraded easily sooner or later. Unboxing youtube com /R1TnO31ideg
However i found one keyboard ' num0' key not working properly and had to give the product to service which is dissapointment. I will update the status soon after i get the product back.
Update :I couldn't give this laptop to flipkart for replacement for some reason in 30 days of guarantee. So, tried to reach acer service centre. Next day, they sent someone to my home for inspecting the laptop. Their quick decision was to replace the keyboard with a new one.
It took 8 days for the new keyboard part to reach in my state from chennai, due to the flooding in chennai, its ok i dont complain about it.
They replaced the part in front of me in 15-30 mins which i felt is very good. Now my lappy is as good as it can be , perfect. Please Checkout my Unboxing video of this laptop model, link given in first paragraph , i hope it helps.

This laptop is awesome for its price. Only cons is no discrete Graphics. Windows 10 bootable time is less than 8 sec.

Touchpad is not good,sound is good and overall this is a good deal at this rate,but the drivers like WIFI work only on WINDOWS 8.1(64 bits) and WINDOWS 10(64 BITS) OS

I bought this laptop mainly for photoshop editing and VFX work and It turns out to be an awesome piece of investment.
Please Go for it.
This laptop has great potential and outstanding processor.
It can even handle heavy 3d gameplay very smoothly.
Although It came up with DOS OS.
But Once you are able to install win 8.1 on this laptop. Believe me, It will work like a bullet train.
