Master of Public Administration (MPA)

The Master of Public Administration program in Wilmington prepares students for positions as administrators, managers, and analysts in a variety of public sector and non-profit settings; city and county administrators, human resource professionals, and a wide range of other leadership and management positions in health care, education, non-profit and non-governmental organizations.
 

The highly-flexible, accelerated program:

  • Offers students an affordably priced, high quality degree
  • Offers an accelerated schedule so that program completion can be achieved in 12-18 months
  • Is Practitioner-focused

Requirements 

  • 3-5 years of work experience with two years at the supervisory or management level (military experience qualifies as work experience)
  • GRE or GMAT (scores may be waived for applicants with supervisory or managerial experience)
  • An interview with program administrators
  • 2 letters of recommendation
  • Transfer students: acceptance of up to 9 credit hours from an accredited university with at least a B grade
  • Non-degree seeking students: may take up to 9 credit hours and need not apply for the program
