Beyoncé Just Dropped a Mega-Tease For What May Be Her Next Album

It's been a little over two months since Beyoncé dropped "Formation," complete with a music video, and ever since then, fans have been an anxious mess waiting for her new album. On Saturday, the singer sent social media into a frenzy when she took to Instagram and uploaded a clip of what appears to be a music video or movie, simply writing, "#Lemonade 4.23 9Pm Et | HBO." While the 20-second snippet doesn't give us many details, the Beyhive seems to think "Lemonade" is an album movie. Either way, we suggest canceling all of your plans on April 23 because the day we've all been anxiously waiting for may finally be here. 15 April 2016 8:15 PM, PDT

No big deal, but J.J. Abrams just said something that disproves one of the biggest theories to come out of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The director appeared at the Tribeca Film Festival on Friday, and when asked about Rey's parentage, he said something truly unexpected: "Rey's parents are not in Episode VII. So I can't possibly say in this moment who they are. But I will say it is something that Rey thinks about, too . . . Obviously it's not for me to talk about in this moment because this is Rian [Johnson]'s story to continue now. The last thing I'm going to do is reveal something that he would be upset about. I want to make sure that Rian gets the courtesy that he showed me." Whaaat? So that rules out Luke, Leia, and Han - three of the most popular contenders! There's also a theory that Rey is related to Obi-Wan Kenobi, »

Game of Thrones: Here's the Difference Between White Walkers and Wights

15 April 2016 2:00 PM, PDT

Ever since the very first episode of Game of Thrones, we've gotten glimpses of some darkly magical creatures. You've all seen those tall scary men with blue eyes and those crazy skeleton-zombie creatures, and they have names: White Walkers and wights. Both creatures are featured prominently (and terrifyingly) on the last season, and you can bet they'll be back for season six. The Game of Thrones world can be remarkably confusing, so let's take a minute to clarify what exactly these figures are. Note: this is an explanation of the creatures based on what the TV series has shown of them, not based on what the books have said. White Walkers Led by the legendary Night's King, White Walkers may look vaguely humanlike, but they are far from being human. Often appearing on horses, they are much taller than humans and have wispy white hair, a mummy-like appearance, and glowing blue eyes. »

Making a Murderer: 7 Theories About What Really Happened to Teresa Halbach

15 April 2016 1:30 PM, PDT

If you haven't yet pressed "play" on the Netflix docu-series Making a Murderer, then you are likely unaware of the controversy surrounding the 2005 murder of Wisconsin photographer Teresa Halbach. However, if you're one of the many subscribers - including celebrities like Alec Baldwin, Lauren Paul, Mia Farrow, and Ricky Gervais - who binge-watched the entire series and found the results of the subsequent investigation disturbing, then you've come to the right place. While public opinion on the case widely varies, one constant theme amongst viewers' reactions to the show is this: that the evidence used to convict former DNA-exoneree Steven Avery and his nephew, Brendan Dassey, of Halbach's murder simply doesn't add up. Seemingly planted clues, coerced confessions, and shady practices abound throughout the Halbach case, and the frustrating (and at times blatantly unjust) criminal proceedings left many Making a Murderer viewers with a sick feeling in their stomachs. Read This Theory Before You Watch Star Wars Again

15 April 2016 11:30 AM, PDT

You know how Kylo Ren (played by Adam Driver) is the worst? Well, one Star Wars fan contends that maybe he isn't the worst. In fact, maybe he's a good guy, underneath that evil, Dark Side-loving veneer. The DVD of Star Wars: The Force Awakens was recently released, and before you watch the movie again, you should read this. Warning: spoilers follow. Tumblr user murphcooper posted an epic theory claiming that Kylo Ren is actually a good guy and that he's infiltrated the Dark Side in order to kill Snoke. To give credit where credit is due, the user's dad actually came up with the theory on the way home from seeing the film with his daughter. Here's the whole theory, because she can explain it in much better detail - and with many more exclamation points - than I can.
