just for 75-300 and 100-300 users

Just out of interest.  When you are using these lenses do you use a tripod?  I think the four answers should cover it but no doubt some smarty pants will catch me out again.

This is in response to a 100-400 review that suggests that most people will use a tripod with this lens.  I am not most people but very rarely use  a tripod with my 100-300.  I'm a just occasionally
