Leaving the sinking A Mount ship

I've just, reluctantly, completed my switch over from Sony A Mount to Nikon (I've already been down the Canon & Olympus road prior to Sony). Here is my reasoning

1. The A99 (My primary camera for work) was released in Sept. 2012. Almost 4 years later no Mark II.

2. I upgraded to the A77II and it solved all the low light focus issues, speed and buffer problems the A99 had but I needed that in the A99

3. There have been no updates (aside from the step down A68) since the A77II (June 2014 Release)

4. Every rumor and road-map since the mirror-less full frame Sony's, only shows updates and new products for the mirror-less lines.

5. When asked, Sony states they haven't given up on A-mount but never gives details or hints and possible dates keep getting pushed back for anything A-mount.

6. There is no upgrade path from the A99 for me. The mirror-less systems would require an adapter to use A-mount lenses. The adapter slows down the focus and the mirror-less systems don't cope as well in low light focus acquisition.

7. Setting aside the problems listed in #6, switching to their A7 series would be very expensive (ie: Basic kit = Body + 24-70mm f2.8 + 70-200 F2.8 = $7000!)

As far as I can tell, Sony is abandoning their professional A-mount users in favor of their mirror-less ambitions.

So I switched to Nikon for better focusing systems, better low light capability & their level of support for their pro users.

I do, however, miss the Sony controls (don't have to press multiple buttons to do everything), EVF: So valuable in composing and especially reviewing pictures, Commitment to SD cards instead of CF & XQD, and the Flippy screen - so, so useful!

So my question to Sony A-mount users past, present and even future, is what do you think? Are you going to jump ship and leave Sony, hang in there for the A99II or move to Sony mirror-less?
