Measurebating the P-L 100-400: Comparisons w/ m4/3 and DSLR crop bodies

This is based entirely on the Dutch Camerastuff review of the lens, and, more to the point, their massive lens test database linked in the website which seems to have gone unnoticed:

https://www.camerastuffreview.com/panasonic-lens-review/review-panasonic-100-400-mm

https://www.camerastuffreview.com/nl/inhoudsopgaves/groothoeklenzen-testoverzicht

If these results can believed, and the absolutely glowing comments of the reviewer, no lens in the m4/3 world reviewed - including the vaunted 75mm/1.8 and the 40-150/2.8 can touch the 100-400/GX8 combination. All but the 100-400 m4/3 lenses were with 16MP E-M1 or older 16MP bodies, so the 12.5% resolution increase makes for a significant measurable difference when there's an excellent lens to exploit it.

And it can't be beat even by Canon 18MP or Nikon 24MP crops and $10,000 lenses such as the 400/2.8 Nikon or the 200-400/4.0 Canon. None of these reach the 2500 l/ph level. m4/3 seems clearly to win the per-pixel sharpness contest, but the superb Nikon 80-400/4.5-5.6 does do it at sub-400mm FL's.

I've thrown in the 100-300 also. CS measured only one stop ot OIS effectiveness vs. four in the 100-400 - which seals the deal for me.
