Over time, nature has been producing wonderful sculptures through its harsh weather: erosion, wind, water, sun. These 'sculptures' might be made of hard sedimentary or volcanic rock, soft sand which moves with the tides or wind, icebergs or glaciers, or the sculptures might be living trees or plants which have interesting shapes. No animals or birds in this challenge, and definitely no man-made constructions as the subject. No shots of Antelope Canyon, please, it has become hackneyed and clichéd. Make sure your entry is 1,600px MAXIMUM on its longer side. DPR does NOT resize your photos for you. You need to do this yourself BEFORE you enter a challenge. Entrants with oversize photos will not be invited to re-submit them. Get the size right the first time!

Hvítserkur is a 15 m-high sea stack just off shore on the eastern side of Vatnsnes. Icelandic legend has it that the rock was a troll who forgot to retreat from the light and was turned to stone in the sunrise, though from some angles it is said to look like a dragon drinking from the water.
