My reaction as well. You don't put your best friends to work for you at your own party.
Lots of limitations. Limited space. I have to use just my own Speedlite (430 Ex). I can, maybe set up a portable background (white or black).
Equipment : 6D, 24-105, 40 mm pancake and 50 mm 1.4.
What I plan to do is Buy a diffuser to put in front of the speedlite. Set up the portable background. White. Use the zoom lens. Set camera and speedlite to manual, figure out the settings in advance. Shoot in jpeg +RAW. Use the jpegs for the party. Use the raw files for later if some post Processing is needed.
I would appreicate tips and comments. I have not done this before.
