Achieving a DxOMark Mobile Score of 88 points the new Samsung Galaxy S7 edge ranks in 1st place on the current DxOMark Mobile database. Featuring a 12Mp rear facing camera and 2160p@30fps video module, Samsung’s latest flagship Smartphone is a great proposition for mobile photography enthusiasts. |
With an overall DxOMark Mobile score of 79, the Sony Xperia M5 camera provides solid image quality results across most situations. Its 21.5MP sensor helps it capture image detail, while also keeping noise under control. Low noise and lots of detail make it ideal for capturing complex outdoor scenes such as cityscapes. There is some loss of sharpness in the corners, though, so don't expect the same image quality edge to edge. |
With a DxOMark Mobile score of 76 points, the OnePlus 2 mobile offers solid camera performance. It’s particularly strong for still photography, achieving a mobile photo sub-score of 80, compared to 67 for video. Still photos capture good detail in all lighting conditions, together with low luminance noise on images shot in bright light. |
With a DxOMark Mobile score of 78 points, the One A9 performs noticeably better than other recent HTC smartphones, and after several devices with disappointing imaging results, puts the Taiwanese manufacturer back into competition with other high-profile brands. |
With a DxOMark Mobile score of 82 points, the BlackBerry Priv achieves excellent results for its photography performance. Ranking inside the current top ten smartphones in our database of mobile phone image quality, the BlackBerry’s Priv now ranks alongside the best smartphone devices we’ve tested from Apple, Sony, and Samsung. |
With a DxOMark Mobile score of 87-points, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus ties for best score on our database alongside the Sony XPeria Z5. |
Billed as a ‘Phablet’ – a phone/tablet hybrid – Samsung Galaxy Note devices have been very popular with consumers looking for an all-in-one solution. Launched alongside the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus smart phone, the new Galaxy Note V is a very similar proposition but aimed towards a different type of user. |
With its iPhone 6s Plus, Apple delivers once again superb camera performance, without compromising on the form factor, in one of the slimmest smartphone on the market. Compared to its previous version, the iSight camera of the latest iPhone manages to improve image quality while packing in more pixels without increasing the size of its sensor. |
Dear DxOMark readers, we are pleased to announce an improvement in the way we display DxOMark Mobile scores when there are multiple devices that have achieved the same overall score. With more and more smartphones having been tested, in many cases quite a few of them achieve the same overall score, so on DxOMark we display them together as a group. Read More |
